"Of course, we could not simply leave it like that. Thinking back on it, perhaps Damian really did care for her... for he allowed her to come into town to meet me. She and I would meet many times... but always he was there. Nonetheless, we were happy. But, alas our happiness was not meant to be. One Day, the three of us were out on a walk through the forests of Yew. We had wandered untill we came upon a secluded spot near a waterfall. Laidis and I sat on a fallen log and looked out at the waterfall... it was a beautifull sight. We were lost in the moment... when we did look up, Damian was gone. Personally, i cared nothing for him, but Laidis had such a kind heart. She insisted on going after him. Hours had passed and we had seen no sign of him. We had returned to Britain, she hoping he would return there, and i hoping he never would. She was angry with me, mad that i cared so little about him. We hadn't argued long when Damian's horse arrived... He had been trained by Laidis to seek her out if anything happened to Damian...(she had quite a way with animals).. the horse had carried his wounded master all the way from Yew, and with an arrow in his leg no less.... Bandits had attacked him in the forest... they have truly grown bold these past weeks. Once again, Laidis was quick to come to his aid... this time I was willing to help. Together, we helped him make the long walk to the healer's shop. He would survive... and oddly enough i was relieved to hear that... not for his sake... but for Laidis's. I couldn't stand to see her so upset. That was the last time i saw her for many days. I heard from my various informants throughout the towns that she had grown ill. All attempts to see her had failed. At last, after two weeks had past without a word from her, i found her sitting on the steps of a nearby inn. She did not look well... but still I was glad to see her. We talked for a long time, we had finally made peace after the incident with Damian... *Chuckles* That was only yesterday... it seems as though years have passed since then. *looks up at the Barkeep* I'm leaving on a journey... I'm trying to return home, surely the herbalists will have some kind of cure for this illness she has come down with."
*The Barkeep replied* "Be carefull Ara, Bandits have been getting closer and closer these days."
*With a smile and a wave Arahenion left the bar. *
