Paine laid back on thebed, and Yuna followed snuggling into her chest. "You cant say anything Paine, you still smoke." Yuna was feeling around the pocket where Paine kept her ciggarettes. "Oh be quiet." she smiled, pulling her closer in.
About an hour later, Yuna woke up and tip toed over to Josh, tapping him on the shoulder. "You dont mind this do you? I know Paines a bit pushy." She smiled.

He turned around opening his eyes and sat up. " I dont really care at all." he said as he looked at her. He sighed getting up walking to his things grabbing his guns and leaving his sword down on the ground. He put them back in his holsters then just stared out the window. He hated being around people, in life he learned not to trust anyone...
as soon as this is over... slowly a few words mumbled out from his mouth as he stared at the land passing by... they had finally left the city.

"Ok well..." Yuna stod from her hunched position. "I'm going to get my things from the other car, if Paine wakes up tell her I'll be back soon." she walked out the door, shutting it gently.
Paine stirred and looked up at Josh. She stood up stretched. "Nice to be away from Midgard huh?" Paine smiled, opening her doggy bag from earlier, pulling out a rice cookie. "I take it Yuna left?"

" She went to go get her things... she said shed be back soon" he said then looked back at her. He took off his coat tossing it back over on his bed " how do you two um... know each other?" he asked leaning against the wall boredly. Normally he would hate starting a conversation but there wasnt much else to do at all.

"We met in 'The Gullwings'. We were parteners along with her cousin Rikku. When The Gullwings split, so did we. Shortly after that we met again, and became semi-lovers. Now she comes and gos... sees me when she likes, in fact it wont suprise me if she doesnt come back at all, and I hear nothing from her for months." Paine sighed, and laid back down. She tossed the rice cookie out the window, passed Joshes head. She closed her eyes, and asked calmly "Why are you a bounty hunter? Don't you have family or something?"

" All of my family are dead" he said staring downards "bounty hunting is the only thing that... I guess its the only thing that makes me happy. Its the thrill of the chase I guess" he sighed then looked at her again " I tend to stay away from love anyways, all it ever does is come right back at you in the end and stab you in the back. Thats why I dont like to get close to people."

"Well... even though she treats me the way she does, I cling to the moments we have, so love to me isnt horriable. I only look forward to the day she makes up her mind through her multiple lovers, you see." She grinned with her eyes still closed. "As for family, well from my understanding they were killed by Sin when I was a child. Before I knew Yuna, she was the summoner who destroyed Sin. Part of why I respect her for her stength. When we met she was looking for a man, she loves him no doubt. No idea why im a bounty hunter, I suppose fighting is all I really know how to do. But really now im just rambling." she stood and walked over to him patting him on the back. "I use to be distant like you. Heres some advice, if you dont want to get close, dont talk." she grinned at him, and walked back over to the bed and flopped down.

He laughed slightly too himself " yeah I already figured that out." he said looking back in her direction " In truth... im looking for death more than anything" he then looked back out the window " if I die it would be better for the world I guess. One less sad pathetic soul in the world, hell if your lucky ill die when we go after Riddick and you can take the five hundred thousand for yourself..." his hand moved into his coat taking out his bottle of alchol, he noticed it was empty and he frowned.

She smiled slightly staring at him. "Honestly, I take care of my partners. So I hope you dont die, because i'd be rich but feeling like shit." she reached in her bag tossing him her flask. "Enjoy Alci." she rolled over with a book, and began reading without any acknowledgement to the world.

He caught it with his right hand and frowned " You where complaining about my drinking earlier" he smiled slightly then opened it taking a small drink from it then closing it. He then tossed it back onto her bed " thanks..."
He sat back down on his bed staring down at the ground, staying on this train for the rest of the day would be hard on him. He hated having to stay in one spot for so long, the sooner they reached Timber the better.

That night she looked around in the dark, but like always there was no Yuna. She looked over at Josh, and he appeared to be a sleep. She stood with a sigh, walking to the window and opening it, lighting her usual ciggarette and hanging her head out the window. Everything outside was lighted by the moon, she closed her eyes and just felt the wind, thinking of Yuna, her far away summoner.

His eyes remained opened in his sleep glowing a slight green. He could see things in his dreams... things that happend to him in his past in midgar. The torturing experiments that Hojo did to him. He called him a weapon... his perfect experiment. How he hated being tied down to the table and having the red and green sirums pumped into his heart. They had changed him both mentally and physically... and his hands they always burned in aching pain...

The next morning Paine walked back in the car after visiting the kitchen for another doggy bag. She sat the doggy bag in her leather bag, along with the flask and book from the night before. She looked over at Josh who was still sleeping and sighed, walked over and sat on the beside him. "Wake up we'll be there soon." She tapped him on the shoulder. "You know, you remind me of a fiend with those eyes." She said still shaking him.

He grunted slightly as his pupils went back into place as he awoke. Slowly he sat up shaking his head as he glanced around, then downwards as he sat up " Yeah... Mako infection does that too you" he said then walked over to his coat picking it up as he put it on. He put his hand over the window as he stared out... his dreams where always the same, showing both things of his past and other things that he didnt understand. He was breathing heavily as he looked down at his right hand, it was burning again from the inside, almost like needles where trying to rip every pore in his hand

"Just like Sephiroth huh? Just not quite as... hm dont know how to put it." she stood up and stretched. "I told you Yuna wouldnt show back up, she never does." she put on a false smile, grabbing her bag. "How much longer is this going to take?" she grunted. "I'm tired of this room." She flopped back on the bed, corssing her arms behind her head and tapping her foot on the bed.
