Slowly josh looked at the other kid " if you where smart you would put your sword away, I dont intend on hurting you or my grandson" he said looking back at Curtis

Griffen nodded slowly as he shethed his sword. He wasn't stupid...he knew who the man was.
Mrah looked over at Graffin and smiled.

Curtis glared at his grandfather " im not going back... you cant make me!" Josh frowned staring at him " you know... you can be really stuborn you know that kid?" he asked then suddenly apeared behind him grabbing him by the collar lifting him upwards as curtis struggled " no let go!"

Griffen blinked and frowned. He sighed and turned. He walked away and shook his head.
Mrah watched the other boy for a minute then looked at Curtis and Josh.

Josh frowned then took the sword out of Curtis hand then tossed it over to Mrah " hold onto that will you?" he asked tossing the kid over his shoulder " now lets go find your dad and head back" slowly he glanced back at the kid " thanks for... watching my grandson for me. He wouldnt have lasted long out here on his own"

griffen shrugged and sighed again.
Mrah picked up the sword and held it carefully. She looked over at the boy and frowned.

Josh hit Curtis in the back of the neck knocking him out so he would stop struggling then looked at Mrah " something wrong?"

Slowly he glanced down at Mrah " he can stay with your grandmother and myself for the night, after that I dont know" he said as he looked back at thek id " I want to offer you a place to stay for the night, its the least I can do for you helping my grandson"

He blinked. He'd be spending the night at his house? that was like a honor. He nodded and walked up to him. "thank you....sir." He looked down at Mrah and smiled.
She smiled back at him then looked at Josh. "thank you grandpa."

Mrah took Josh's hand and walked along side him. Griffen tagged along behind them and looked at the ground. Hopefully he could find a job and a place to stay at the town where Josh lived.
