James nodded pale. he didn;t want to let Kyo go. he didn;t want to lose him too.

Kyo felt bad for James...but he lost her too. They got to the apartment and Kyo looked around. Everything was so quiet and the night winds came through the window. He looked back at James and sighed. "I'll make dinner..."

Kyo nodded. "get some sleep then..." he walked to the window and looked out. The sky was dark and snow was starting to fall. They wouldn't have Christmas with Jean...

Kyo looked at him and sighed. He hugged the boy and watched the snow fall down. "Why did the break melt....that's impossible..." he frowned as he thought.

"Who would want to kill Jean though? Or maybe whoever their target was...it wasn't just her they were after." He looked down and thought. "No one was around when the car smashed into us...not even a driver." He frowned and tried to think.

Kyo looked at James and frowned. "why would they be after you? If anything they'd be after me...I have a ton of debts..." he sighed and looked back out at the snow. "No one is safe here....not with that creature around...."
