Sephiroth sighed shutting his eyes and he smild slightly. it was quiet... that had to be a first for him.

Riku walked out of the room and looked at Seph on the couch. "must be still asleep." he yawned and looked out the window. it was a foggy morning, but what else was new?

Riku shrugged and frowned as the rain fell. His whole life was one big rain storm. He sighed and walked over to Seph.

Riku frowned. "We have to fix that...i don't want you having my dreams." he shivered and sighed. "I guess this place has no heat." he looked over at the fireplace. "and it's too wet to make firewood."

Sephiroth sat up and grabbed Riku's arm and sat him down so he sat at Sephiroth's left. he flapped his wing over Riku's body and pulled the boy toward him laying an arm on his shoulders, "better?" he smirked a bit, "how exactly are you going to stop those dreams from coming to me?"

Riku blinked. "umm....thanks..." he looked at the feather and felt them. "hmm...i'm not sure how but they have to stop. They're probably dreams of my childhood and i don't want anyone to see them..."

Sephiroth smiled, "well the only way to stop it is have the dreams yourself." he sighed leaning closer, "listen Riku just let me see the dreams. i'll keep quiet about it. you should at least have peace in sleep..."

Riku looked away. "i don't care if you keep them quiet to others...i just don't want you or anyone else seeing them..." he sighed and looked down. "5 years ago...i was a boy who lived in a world filled with color...but no...i asked to be taken off the island to have an adventure....i asked the darkness to take us away. now my life is black and white and shades of gray....It's all my fault."

Sephiroth sighed, "well the darkness can be a very cunning thing..." Sephiroth shut his eyes and sighed, "don;t feel bad you were innocent back then. you still are. you made a mistakle but you can still make up for it." he bowed his head, "plus... i;ve done the same thing except not in a million years will i be able to redeem myself."
