"but why? why would you dad do that to such a beautiful planet? I don't understand." He looked down the forest and saw nothing but mud and trees. He wondered how he got here.

" My father isnt human thats why, hes a vampire, he doesnt care for life of any sort. He wants us all dead... although I do understand that if I kill him in the past I wont be born but... that is something that I am willing to sacrifice"

He looked at gradd oddly. "A vampire? What is that? I...I don't understand Gradd. The future is confusing to me....i just don't understand." The poor boy seemed to be more lost than he already was.

Gradd frowned as he stared at the child " a vampire is... ill show you" Gradd closed his eyes and opened his jaw as two fangs slowly began to grow out from his teeth along with his finger nails as they grout outwards turning into claws. When he opened his eyes they glew a slight blood red as he looked down at him. " This is a vampire... although im only half... they haunt the night attacking people killing them by drinking there blood. The only thing that can kill them is sunlight. But in my time they dont have to worry about that, the smog that covers the sky protects them from death"

Memory looked at gradd in great fear. He stept back in horror. "Please don't hurt me!" he turned and started to run away. He though he was there to help. Suddenly he tripped over a treeroot and looked back at gradd.

Gradd frowned as he changed back to normal and walked towards the child as he knelt down to him " I dont drink blood, well not human blood just pigs blood and thats only once a month" gradd picked him up and set him down " I dont want to hurt you ok"

Memory looked up at him then looked down at the mud. "So you wont hurt me?" He looked back up at gradd and gave him a small smile. "you'll help me find my mommy?"

Gradd nodded to him " yes I will help you find her, you may not remember what she looks like but I bet she remembers you. Dont worry were going to find your parents"

He smiled and hugged Gradd. "Thank you." He then let go and coughed. "do you think we can find a place to stay? I'm very cold."

Gradd nodded as he picked him up " I bet I can find us a place.... im not really sure where to go... things are so much more different than in my time..."

Memory put his arms around Gradds neck and looked behind while Gradd walked. "when...when will they come? The vampires aren't going to come soon are they Gradd? If they do....I want to fight with you. This planet is too beautiful to give up like that."

" its day right now so we dont have to worry about it. But... there is a chance that I might be hunted, im a dunpeal and even my kind are hated by humans because im still a vampire, even if I do have human blood in me. In this time there is a man named mobieus, he controls a strong group that follows the ways of the seraphan. They believe that anything with vampiric blood in them must die"

Memory blinked. "but you're a good vampire. why can't you just them that? Tell them that you want to help and that you mean no harm. I'm sure they'll understand." He looked up at the rainy clouds. The rain calmed down but still didn't stop. "I've been under that tree for three days and nothing attacked me."
