A woman stept out of the room where the doctor came and lit up the small fireplace. The water over the fire started to boil slowly. She looked back at room where gradd had put Memory.
The woman wearing black walked up to the door and looked in. "are you sure you won't take any tea?"

She smiled at him. "I am the doctor. That's one of the great parts of being a witch, getting to change gendres to protect yourselve. You see I was banned from the local towns, so I go as a man to get clothing and food. I'm the 'doctor' of this town, that how i get he money to live on. Like I said, you already paid me."

Gradd gave her a dumbfounded look " but your only human how can you do that?" if anything he was confused about this by far... " wait you told me you didnt know of any vampire hunters, there are alot of them in this town, that doesnt make any sense"

Gradd frowned as he looked at her " that magic is used by the vampire worshipers in my time... mostly by there priestess, she uses her powers to control people." he walked out and sat down " she tried controlling me once, luckily my vampiric side had a stronger will than she did"

She looked down and nodded. Searching through a handmade pocket, she took out a small orbe. "see this? I found it near a tear. I've been studying it for months. It shows the future and who makes differances in it. That's why I know your name. I've seen you many times in the shadows of this orbe. I also saw that boy that you carry around." she slid the orbe over to gradd. "just last week it faded and won't show anymore images."

Gradd stared at it oddly holding it " doesnt look very special too me... besides I dont really want to know my future anyways. I dont think anybody should know there future, it kind of ruins things"

Gradd shook his head slowly " no I dont... shortly after my death my mother was killed by vampires. I dont know anything about her.... I was found abandoned alongside a road and raised by monks, the only reason I know kain is my father is because.... I dont seem to forget anything."

"I would have never guessed that kain would mate with a human. He's not one that would do that." She swallowed and took the water off the fire. She stood up and walked to the counter and put crushed spices into the water. The spices mixed as she pour some into a glass. She then went to a keg and poured some of the liquid into another glass.
She brought both glassed to the table and set one down infront of Gradd. "pig blood you said?"

Gradd shrugged slightly " yeah I guess so..." he took another sip from it then looked out the window " I dont think im going to kill kain, its impossible for me to be the one that does so. If I kill kain I will disapear and would have never of been born and thus... I would have never been able to come back and kill him"
