Raichu looked at him and shook his head " no I think they would recognize you... I think that people up there watch down on there loved ones all the time... wishing that they where together..." he sighed then looked over at him " your mom and dad miss you just as much as you miss them"

Dainket looked up and nodded. "they've been watching me for a long time then. I'm 26 years old." he stood up and walked to the kitchen again. "can i get you anything grandpa?"

Raichu shook his head " nothanks I had something to eat before you got home" he stood up walking towards the window then looked up at the sky " this will be my last fight... and probrably my last day" he whispered to himself and sighed

Dainket nodded and walked up the stairs to his room. he opened the door and walked in, placing his gunblade near then shrine for his parents. he walked to his dresser and took out his training clothes. the shirt was blue while his pants were black. he took off his shirt and pants and put on the training clothing. he ran down the stairs and jumped down half. he poked his head into the living room. "I'm going for an early train, wanna join me?"

Raichu looked over at him and nodded " yeah sure sounds good to me" slowly he stood up and coughed then shook his head feeling slightly dizzy as his sight went blank for a while and he only saw red.." wow I think I got up to fast..." he shook his head and slowly his vision came back to him

dainket walked over to him and took his arm. "you ok grandpa?" he was failing badly. he put his hands on raichu's shoulders and looked straight in his eyes. "grandpa, i don't want you to do this if you honestly can't." he was very worried about his grandpa. he though raichu would be around for a few more years but now, now he could see. He really might not be there when Dainket falls in love.

Raichu frowned and looked up at him he had to be truthful this time " dainket im dying... what do you think..." he coughed again " this tournament is going to be my last alright... my last few days..." he sighed staring down he didnt want to die but it was his time... dainket held raichu up for support. his eyes started to water. he didn't want to see raichu like this. he always had heart trouble. "It's ok grandpa. you have lived your life well, and i am proud to have you as a guardian and trainer. I wouldn't have wanted it any other way."

Raichu frowned as he looked at him " I probrably wont make it past the first round you know..." he coughed again then fell back in his seat... " I think I just need some rest..." he sighed thinking... he had always promised dainket to tell him about Ryten... but he never did

He let raichu go when he sat back in the chair. "you'll make it grandpa, you'll make the whole thing." he smiled and stood up. "I'll let you rest now. sleep ok?" he walked out of the living room and stepped outside. he took a deep breath of the cold air. it was very cold since it was almost night. he walked to the inclosed training ground that was in the back.He tied his hair up and started to exersise.

Raichu sighed as he shut his eyes... his age.. everything it disapointed him... just a few years ago he could so much and now... now he was nothing but a pitiful old man... slowly he drifted off thinking of the same things..

dainket moved slowly and concintrated on his energy. It was hard though, he couldn't stop thinking about raichu. He'd have no one after he died. he sighed and stopped, looking at the ground. his mind wasn't focused and would make him weak in the match. he probably won't get far.

Raichu dreamed silently that night... most old people did... there was so little things on his mind... only the day of his death bothered him... he new it was near... even if he would get to see Ayame... he didnt want to leave dainket..

Dainket came back inside about 2 hours later. he didn't get much done. he walked into the living room and smiled. he took a blanket from the couch and covered raichu with it. "night grandpa," he whispered. he walked up stair to his room and kept the door open, just in case. he took off his clothing and got into bed with his boxers on.

The next morning Raichu awoke with his a blanket wrapped around him he smiled slightly then looked at the time... it was 10:00... he never used to sleep in this late... he sighed and just sat there
