Dainket stood up and walked to raichu's side. he smiled then sighed. "it's not as pretty as others. It must not know." he looked at raichu and blinked.

Raichu sat down slowly on the porch as he stared out into the distance... tommorow would be it... he would finally be back with ayame... atleast he hoped that he would..

Dainket sat down next to him and sighed. "I'll be fine grandpa, it will take me awhile to get back on my feet again. I'll go talk to magus when i'm ready, maybe he can train me so i can be a better fighter. The thing is that i think i'm to old, to do much of anything...and be good at it." he knew that he should had fallen in love sooner...

Raichu looked over at him and shook his head " your still very young dainket, being in your twenties is when you are suppost to be the mostl lively you know so go out and live life the best you can during this part of your life alright"

Dainket nodded and just sat there. a few hour went by and they still sat there, side by side. the sunset was long gone but he was still looking out. it was cloudy and there were no stars. dainket sighed and stood up. "I can't believe it's night already."

" yeah I know... to bad there arent any stars out tonight it would be nice" slowly he glanced up at Dainket " your grandmother used to love the stars... she said there was a star for each person... like a guardian angel or something... cant really remember she said alot of things about stars.."

Yea, just make things even sadder grandpa... Dainket sighed and went back into the house. "I don't believe in angels..." he sat on the chair in the kitchen and sighed again. he looked at the clock and frowned. it was 9pm now. the day must have gone by so quickly so dainket would be tourtured.

Raichu sighed he didnt mean to make him more upset... he was only thinking about Ayame... he frowned just sitting there... the next day would come soon he hoped

dainket sighed. he didn't know what to do anymore. he thought about what josh said. he hated him so much. he needed to talk to tifa when he had the chance. he walked back outside and sighed. "we should get to bed grandpa."

Raichu looked up at dainket " you go ahead I just... I just want to stay out here a little longer alright, its nice out.." slowly he set down his cane on the ground and smiled

he nodded and closed the door. walking upstairs and taking off his clothes.....all he could do was think. he wouldn't be able to sleep tonight. he laid there and looked up at the ceiling. today was the day, nothing would make him happy tomorrow. all he hoped was that raichu didn't have a match with josh, he knew that josh would kill him...

Raichu slowly stood upwards as he began to walk back into the house.. as he shut the door he let out a brief sigh then began his trip up the stairs slowly one by one... one thing though bothered him... he new that if he didnt fight that he would live longer... and that would make dainket happy but..

Dainket just laid there. the door was opened, just in case. he loved his grandpa so much, he didn't want to see him die...he prayed that raichu wouldn't fight josh. he would hate that, and he promised raichu that he wouldn't kill anyone. he felt lost and alone.

Raichu slowly walked up to the edge of Dainkets door as he looke din " hey kid you going to sleep?" he asked as he stared inside " id tuck you in but I think your way to big for that now adays" he laughed then scratched his hand through his hair

"naw grandpa, you don't have to. not unless you REALLY wanted to." he laughed and looked at the ceiling. "i'll doze off sooner ot later." he took the clock and set the time. he looked back at raichu and smiled. "ready for the big day tomorrow? going to midgar."
