"Whoa..." Terra's eyes were wide as he looked around everything changing so fast it made his head spin and his knees week. What did this mean? How was this possible?! Look outside! Terra pulled away from Ven, slowly and walked forward, pushing aside the curtain that were so soft it made him shiver, not used to such a feeling. And then he gasped, eyes going wide. He almost couldn't get the words out. "Ven... come look at this!" What they saw was the world spread before them in magnificence for the first time. The grass he saw made under Divine the moment she landed - it was as if it expanded into this... this wonderful brilliance of life and beauty. And, he noted, there was a wide expanse of stairs now leading down to the floor - they no longer needed dragons to fly up to the ruins now. Or were they even ruins anymore?
Underneath the ground, Aqua was looking up and down the tunnel tentatively as it stopped moving. She reached out, touching a low hanging branch, fingers fluttering along the greenery there before Xigbar could even think to tell her not to. "These are... leaves.." she whispered, knowledgeable some due to being best friends with Terra.
And down further, Hatori was glancing down at his leg, moving it without trouble. He stared at it as he drew it up, wondering if it should be doing that. "What in the name of Divine is going on here?"
There was a laugh against Riku's side, so full of joy Sora looked ready to burst into a rainbow himself. "We'll have to explore it." He said with a nod, noticing how, now especially, it was partially hidden behind all the new formations. It might still become their place only, not that Sora would mind to share.
He looked towards the dragon who was surveying her work with satisfaction, and perhaps a little exhaustion, and said, "Divine... thank you. I'm eternally grateful for this."
He wasn't sure how long it was or how it was he laid their under this softness, just stared at the green spread around him and the blue above him, before something materialized itself out of thin air it seemed, cutting into his vision. This thing, turned out, to be his reflection who smiled and said his name. And slowly he blinked in realization. "Oh, I get it... I'm in the Great Beyond." Blue eyes blinked then he laughed some. That was when Sora appeared too, and Roxas frowned a bit. Did Sora die too? He wouldn't of been surprised if he had, the way that Murderous had been on his tail. "Rox, get up!" The brunette said lifting up something that had possibly once been his Treasure Box, though it was now so different, the sides shimmering in this soft yellow-gold, that he couldn't of been sure. When Sora over-turned it above him, he was ready to be buried in the sentiments that his sibling had gathered during his years.
Instead there was a splash - as that devious little brat threw WATER on him! "GAH!" Roxas sat up, spluttering and shaking his head as his brothers laughed at him. "Why'd you do that?!" "For this." Sora said settling onto his knees on one side as Ven did the same on the other and they both at once wrapped him up in a big group hug. "Uh... g-guys..." Roxas said, his head turning only to get a cheek full of blonde and brown spikes. And they felt warm and strong and close. He felt to aware for this to be a dream and... "I'm not dead am I... someone pinch me." Ven did, of course. "OW!" He gave up trying to understand it, moving his arms - one each to encircle either of his siblings. They stayed like that for awhile, just enjoying one another's presence.
Sora pulled away first though, "Come on, Divine needs to speak with us all." They helped their youngest to his feet and started walking in the general direction of the gathering of humans - Flyers and Chasers both and dragons of all - surrounding the magnificent beast waiting to speak to them all about the laws of her land. Though Roxas fell behind quickly, his steps slow as he looked all around him with awe. Sora chuckled and whispered clandestinely to Ven, "Wonder how much longer it'll be before he realizes you aren't dead."

"Maybe, someday." Ven smiled following his brother towards the massive dragon where everyone was gathered, for the first time, together. The blonde smiled as he walked up to Terra, standing by his side, his eyes gazing around the circle, seeing the Chasers and Flyers are at each other just feet away. He knew for one thing that if they lived in such an amazing world now, they needed some better clothes!
"You alright?" Came a voice behind the younger blonde, making him look behind himself when he felt a warm hand on his back. It was Axel. And he was giving the young warrior a happy and loving smile.
Up above, where the Crystal Palace shimmered, two Divine were up on a ledge, the younger looking out towards the new world. "Kadaj?" Green eyes met the glowing blue and Riku smiled, slowly walking up to him and standing by his side. He looked out towards where his brother had been looking, out where the desert sands still ragged and mercy couldn't be found for miles around. "Why are you looking out there for?" He asked, turning to his brother and frowned, seeing a strange, perhaps lonely face. "What is the matter? You have done an amazing thing for me.... for them... it is nothing to be sad about? Father will understand sooner or later..."

"I think so..." Roxas said after a moment, his gaze unable to stray from the man's face and that smile he had. "I am just having trouble wrapping my mind around the fact that.... this is truly happening." And then he smiled back, "I am happy to know.. you are alive though." They found a place among the rest to sit down and he sighed, leaning up against the red-head.
With everyone accounted for, thirteen new humans and nine dragons, Divine rose up and everyone was suddenly very still and quiet, looking towards her with undivided attention. "Chasers and Flyers and dragons alike. You have been welcomed into my home with the belief you will treat it with the same kindness my children have and help it flourish in ways I may not have previously imagined."
Her wings drew in, "However, there are certain laws you are to be aware of. No killing, whether it be of the animals or one another, shall happen on these grounds. All your sustenance will be found from the food that grows from the ground or these trees. As for your dragons, all hunting must be done outside of the barrier's walls. I will not stand for any bloodshed whatsoever. Failure to comply will result in immediate banishment." Sora nodded some as he had expected as much, looking about and seeing the skeptical looks and suspicious glancing towards the trees. The brunette gave a secretive smile - they were in for a surprise when they finally tasted them! There were other laws of course, almost all of them denouncing their old ways of life. No more tunneling or building up on the land. No digging up or cutting down of any plantation. No speaking in tongues - all language was to be 'English'. But the more Sora heard, the more relaxed he became. There would be many changes for their lifestyles, and many of them including himself were going to find it hard to know what to do with themselves now that they no longer had their old jobs, but now at least they could come together as friends.
"Ah..." Kadaj averted his gaze, looking back towards the lands beyond. "To tell you the truth Riku, I didn't simply speak my mind for altruistic means. In fact, I was being quite selfish..." His fingers drummed on the edge of the railing, and sighed, "After I came after you that final day, after you had left... someone had approached me. I'm not certain what dragon he had been on, all I truly remember is he wore nothing but paint and... had very amazing eyes."
He sighed at the memory, cupping his cheek in his hand. "I was hoping he would be with the Chasers... but perhaps it is already too late. Life is so frail out there..."

Everyone listened carefully as Divine told of her laws. They were quite strict but no one said a word, too scared to oppose her now that she had accepted them as her own children. All the Chasers knew was to tunnel and now, there was nothing left to tunnel for. The Flyers only knew of hunting, celebrating when their warriors came with food and now, there was truly nothing to hunt for. The redhead frowned and swallowed, only learning of this rule after a few minutes and he spotted it. A deer, watching them from the woods. Every muscle in his body told him to go, run and chase after it, to hunt it down and bring it back to his people. He was a hunter and always was one...
He looked away though and smiled, bringing Roxas close. Perhaps he could still hunt by day, looking fir game on the outside and bring his findings back to his home where his people would still cheer and celebrate. Ventus leaned into Terra, finding all these rules so different. What would he do now? If he couldn't invent things to help hunt or dig... "So," He whispered, looking up at the man who had him on his lap. "Where shall we live? In the tunnels or the ruins? That is... if you still want me around.
"Thank you, my Divine and may I speak for everyone that we shall follow your laws for all of time." Jet was the one who stood and spoke, looking out over his people before looking across the way at the Chasers. "May I suggest that tomorrow's sunset will be time of gather to... to join us all together as one. The Flyers... and the Chasers.... to settle our differences. If it were not for my sons... or the son of the Chasers... we would not be here today. Tomorrow, I would like to honor them and the Divines for our new life. Our new home and our new ways of living and survival."
Riku tilted his head some as he listened to his brother before he too looked back at the sky. A man with nothing but 'paint'? At first, he wasn't sure what he was talking about but suddenly, it clicked. "Brother," He started, leaning against the railing, looking over the land again. "While I was meeting the Flyer and learning about the Outside... I learned of another group called the Unbroken." This caught his brother's attention and green eyes were back on him. "They live far away and usually never appear and are considered... even more savage than what we thought of the Flyers and Chasers. They do not wish to be civil and I'm sure, even if they are welcomed, they would not be sitting there, listening to Mother's words."
He smiled at his brother though and nodded. "Still, if you met him and he did not challenge you, it might be an Unbroken who would be willing to 'break'. The way you describe him reminds me of Axel when he goes to hunt as he wears hardly anything but blood or mud on his face. Axel was once an Unbroken and though his ways of hunting hadn't changed, he is civil like the Flyers. And I hear that the Unbroken were curious types... perhaps if you keep watching for him.. he'll come just to check out the new land." A pale hand was placed on the shorter, a gentle smile being given. "I hope you see him brother and that he will come to you."

Roxas too was frowning some at the idea of no hunting. He had just become a man from his hunting accomplishments, and now it was a shot to his pride to say that he could no longer do so. Then a thought passed his mind that he had to tell Ven about what had happened since he had been gone... And there was the epiphany Sora and Ven had been waiting for as his eyes went wide and he actually jerked a bit in Axel's grip, his head snapping around to stare at his elder brother in pure shock and fascination that could of rivaled his amazement at actually being in Paradise. VEN WAS ALIVE?! And then, of course, to add to his mounting confusion, he got to see what happened next.
"You didn't think you'd get rid of me that easy, did you?" Terra chuckled heartily, nuzzling his nose against his temple and giving him a chaste little kiss there.
AND HE WAS WITH A LANDCHASER?!
When Jet spoke though, everyone looked towards him and then after he spoke his piece, as one, they all turned towards the Landchasers and, specifically Hatori as he stood up and crossed the distance to stand before Jet. It was a tense moment for all of them; after years of fighting, bedtimes spent hearing stories about the evils of one another, nights spent sleeping with one eye open and raids spent cursing each other it was surreal to watch one leader hold out his hand in silent askance, to watch the two shake in agreement to this plan.
Terra swore, since he knew his dad's rough and brash nature, that he was near to a heart attack just watching this act of peace.
"Hmm... I suppose we shall see." Kadaj said thoughtfully, then glanced at his brother, grinning wickedly, "In fact, if you could tame one oft them, I'm sure I'll do just fine." He laughed as the other shoved him for that slight offense.

OOC: Please txt me when you get on. This is probably my last post before the ending~
"I didn't train anyone." Riku smiled before he turned and walked away, down the stairs and across the soft grass towards the people who were still standing around his mother. He had never found it strange to have a dragon as a mother until he became familiar with the Outsiders. He would have questioned if it was true if he didn't have the scales on his back, his brothers and sister having the same feature. The Divine silently came up to the brunette who was standing, watching his people talk amongst themselves and grinned. There was a playful cry when a strong arm caught behind his knees, making him fall against the silverette's strong chest, the man leaning in to nuzzled his nose against the Flyer's as he carried him away, down towards Their Place.
Everyone too started to follow suit, exhausted from the experience and raid. For the first time, Ventus smiled, feeling warm fingers intertwine with his own. His clear blue eyes looked up at the brunette, giving him a happy and true smile before they too started heading down through the valley. They didn't get very far though when he heard his name in the wind, making him look back to see his identical twin come running after him, the hunter in tow. "Roxas?" He paused, releasing Terra's hand when the other blonde brought him into a tight hug. "Ut..." A smile ran over his face again when he hugged back, the two holding onto each other for quite some time. However, when Ven felt his brother shaking, he pulled away and studied his face, seeing the tears running down thin cheeks.
"Rox? It's ok... there's no need to cry..." Thumbs pushed the tears away, seeing how puffy his eyes were. "We're ok now. I.. I guess I was wrong to say everyone was so childish, saying that we should put our... our fate in Divine's hands. I should have known pure force wouldn't be right..."
As the Chasers and Flyers journeyed back to their homes, a patient Divine was giving up hope. It felt like forever, just standing there, watching the empty sky for any signs of the man with the 'amazing eyes'. As he started to leave his perch, there was a sudden, far off cry of a dragon, making the man look back and there it was, a small flock of dragons and riders in the distance outside of the shield. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like they were going to come any closer, only being little black dots in the sky. The Divine continued to watch though and realized that one of the dots were getting closer, taking shape into something long and spiky. It was a slender dragon with horns and spikes down it's body and head, it's cheeks looking strange.
And then he saw him. The rider. Another cry came far from the distance, most likely another member warning the young man not to go too close but the Changewing continued to fly towards the Divine waiting on the balcony. The dragon became idle just over the barrier as his rider looked down towards the Crystal Palace, at the silverette who he had bumped into a Spell ago. He had a strong body that was still youthful but rugged, the young man obviously seeing better days. He no longer had 'paint' on his body but it was slicked with dirt and mud. Still, his eyes were an amazing mixture of green and blue and as he turned his head to examine the Divine, it looked as if the colors changed like magic.

"I think you need to tell Sora that." Roxas said, his voice a little thick, and when he got a curious look he clarified, "I heard about the fight you two had..." Though perhaps now he could understand why Ven had been so angry all the time. His lips trembled again, biting his lip, and unable to stop the look of guilt from morphing from his face. "I'm sorry."
"Sorry? For what?" He opened his mouth, about to say it, about to say 'for being such a horrible sibling that I never knew how much pain your were going through; that I should of been there for you and protected you from being hurt'. Then was aware of the Chaser not far (and staring at them like they were science abnormality's - which they sort of were being twins) and Axel behind him and his teeth clicked closed, worrying his bottom lip some, before he whispered, "I just... I just am alright? I just really... really am."
Up above, a hand moved, brushing aside the long curtain of hair behind his ear, eyes gazing in wonder at the being not too far away. He straightened from the banister, walking to length of it to the edge, watching the man hovering there. He whistled suddenly, and after a few moments, a dragon - the same he had rode when they first met, appeared. He climbed over the railing and jumped down onto his back without fear and the two flew up and around, towards the other male and, once they were level with him, hovered just inside the barrier.

Ven's eyes darkened with worry at the weak whisper in his ear and though Roxas may have thought that was enough, it wasn't for him. He knew it would eat away his sibling until he said the truth. Now that they were accepted into this land, it was time for everyone to stop suffering. He pulled his brother away some and looked back over his shoulder at the Chaser. "Terra, can you give us a moment?" His blue eyes looked out to Axel next, giving him a weak smile. "Hunter?" The two nodded and slowly left the twins alone, the only sound around them were the frogs in the pond, which they didn't know about quite yet.
"Roxas..." Ven held his brother's face, his eyes peering into the other's. "What happened? I mean... I...I should be the one that's sorry. I... I could have tried harder to... to somehow tell you and Sora that I was alive."
The bronzed skinned man tilted his head, his ratty hair blowing some from the wind his dragon's wings were making. They hovered there for some time before the Unbroken open his mouth, "Hwo rae oyu..?" and his voice was soft and handsome.

Roxas swallowed hard, shaking his head some, though his words reminded him of a flash of memory. "I heard you and Verrill go down. I tried to get to you but... I wasn't fast enough." He hesitated then whispered, "But that's not what I'm sorry about."
"Then what...?"
Roxas swallowed hard, looking back at his brother and his tears resurfaced. He didn't know it was possible to feel this guilty without having killed someone. "Van." In response, Ven looked shocked, and suddenly afraid. Those hands fell away from his face. "I... I found out what he was doing to you..." His teeth clenched, the bone grinding together. When Ven got out just a bare whisper, a small one-worded question of how, the blonde turned his face away to hid his shame. "H-H-He.... w-when you died he... h-he replaced you... w-with..." He didn't even finish, couldn't get it out. He drew his arms close to himself, as if trying to protect himself. He was trembling more now, worse then before, and damn it all, if he could just stop crying! "I-I'm sorry I- if I had known I... I wouldn't of let him. I s-should of known how hurt you were!"
Unfortunately, his voice, no matter how nice it sounded, didn't make sense. The Divine shook his head, feeling his heart drop in despair as he called back, "I don't understand." If they couldn't communicate... was that it then?

Blue eyes widened in fear, hearing that simple little name sent chills through his very soul. He swallowed and looked away, feeling emotion after emotion play out again, ones that he hadn't felt in weeks. Shame, weakness, anger, guilt... but when Roxas told him, choked out the words that Van had replaced him with--- "Oh Divine.... Divine, no!" He cried, tears welling in his own eyes now before he grabbed his young brother and held him so close, so tight, he was sure he would squeeze him to death. Vanitas had... Together, they stood there, holding onto one another, feeling like if they let go, something horrible would happen, that the world around them was fake, nothing but a safe place in their own mind they made to get away from the things Vanitas did to them.
A few minutes passed and after a few blinked, Ventus knew that the world they were in were real and it became so beautiful because... because... "Rox..." The man whispered, slowly pulling away, pushing the tears back gently. "You would have never known. I... shoulder have... looked for help. I should have... trusted you... to take care of me. After so many years---" He was paused when Roxas held his own mouth, more tears forming from the facts that this had been happening to his big brother for a long time. "No, listen to me." He placed his forehead on his brother's, giving him a weak smile. "He's gone now. He'll.... he'll never harm me... or you... or anyone else... ever again. Terra.... that Chasers... he.... he avenged me.... he avenged you... and Vanitas knew. When he saw death, he knew why it came to him. Divine heard our prayers... in one way or another, she did. She did."
His arms wrapped around Roxas again, this time, swaying him gently as they cried on each other's shoulder.
The Unbroken looked a little confused at first, his facial expression and body language revealed that he felt a little awkward. The man looked back, towards the group of dragons and riders far off before facing the Divine again. His eyes closed for a moment before he opened his mouth again. "I say... who are you?"

It seemed like an eternity later before they calmed down enough and Roxas discovered they had gone from standing to kneeling in the soft curtain of grass under them. He had a feeling, for him, it was just because he didn't have enough sustenance left to keep crying. So he just sat there, curled up against his brother, soft hitching in his breath from some leftover sobs. When he pulled away he felt a little dizzy, but he looked towards his brother, leaning forward and like Ven had done for Sora, gave him a kiss on the forehead. When he pulled away he whispered, "I think he's done more than that."
At the arched eyebrow, Roxas smiled faintly. "That Chaser... Terra... I don't know how long it's been gone but that light in your eyes... it's finally back. He's... really special to you, huh?" If he was feeling more up to it, he would of teased Ven endlessly for the award-winning blush that crossed his face. Instead he said, "Axel is to me too..."
Kadaj looked surprised at the change in tongue, but it made him smile just faintly. Underneath him Souba huffed a bit, beating his wings some more to stay level. "I am Kadaj. Who are you?"

"The hunter?" Ventus smiled, seeing his identical twin nod. A hand was placed on Roxas's shoulder and Ven nodded. "He's a strong man... I'm... so glad you found happiness with him." Over the treeline, Ventus could hear a call and a roar, signalling that he was being sought after. The blonde blushed again and slowly started to turn away. "I guess we should fine our ways to our new home. Take care for tonight, brother." A gentle kiss was placed on Roxas's hand before it was let go and Ventus started to head down the green hill, feeling the night breeze press against his skin for the first time ever and it felt just amazing. The trek wasn't far and he was seeing the lights inside the raised lumps in the ground. Standing before one door was a man whose arms were crossed to signal that he had been waiting for some time.
Those arms lowered when the blonde walked closer and wrapped around the smaller frame, pulling him close. "Terra..." Ventus breathed out before his breath was taken away by a kiss.
Another blonde too found his way back to the ruins that now stood and shined as bright as the Crystal Palace. There, his people, the Skyflyers were all standing around, speaking of how blessed they were and how fortunate that they no longer had to worry about Spells or death itself. It was in this crowd that the young Roxas didn't see the hunter, the redhead usually the easiest to spot in a crowd. Slowly, his head cranked up to look at the high tower and low and behold, Axel was leaning over the opening, looking down at him. Instantly, Xiu flew out and swooped down, grabbing the blonde by his rags and pulled him up into the tower where Axel took the younger male's waist and pulled him into the tower safely.
Blue eyes saw it for the first time, the beautiful vines and flowers that now grew around the hunter's room. All the metal was clean and shining, the leather like new and the floors a cool and calming marble. "I wasn't too sure how much I like what she did with the place but now that you're in it... I guess it's not so bad..." The redhead smiled when the blue eyes were on him and his long arm wrapped around his lover, pulling him close. Even if he was still set on hunting, a huge weight was lifted off his shoulders because now, now he didn't have to worry that Roxas would die of starvation or heat. Now, they had their lives extended to be by each other's side and no matter what his room looked like now, he couldn't thank Divine enough for giving Roxas the life he deserved.
"I is Gunnar." The Unbroken introduced, his voice a little shaky to cue in the Divine that though he spoke the tongue, he didn't speak it well. Still, blueish green eyes looked down at the pale hand reaching up reluctantly. It was an offering but he wasn't sure if he should take it. The young man scanned the utopia below him, seeing how everything was so green and peaceful, even under the moonlight. Those eyes that caught the Divine's looked back and slowly reached down, a feeling of shock and enlightenment running through them the moment their flesh touched. There was a cry from the Changewing and then a mighty flap. "AAH!" The brunette yelp when he was suddenly thrown off his dragon who didn't want anything to do with this and feel down onto Souba.
The Unbroken fumble a bit but strong hands guided him to a safe part of the dragon's back so that now the male was clinging onto his back. "T-thank...you." The brunette whispered but flinched when he felt fingers run over his rough face, his eyes turning to look into glowing green and a smile brightened up his dirty, sand worn face.
Down below, in an old yet not forgotten Well Room, an abode took its place. The doors opened and the Divine stepped in with his brown haired lover in his arms. They glanced around the room, marveling at what was inside. Everything, to the very inch, was how they had drawn it on the wall with the coloring rock. The windows were in place, the table was sitting in the corner and there was even a large door to their left for Iris and Yuu. But most of all, there was the bed that Riku had drawn that pulled a blush on Sora's face. "Our bed..." The silverette smile as he walked over to it and gently placed Sora down in the middle. White silk robes were pulled off slowly and fluttered to the ground. No longer did the Divine feel shy or embarrassed of standing before the Skyflyer like this. Strong arms reached down and his muscles bulged while me moved over the smaller male, leaning in and planting a loving and passionate kiss along the chapped lips.
A smile rose over his pale lips when he felt warm fingers run down his scales do delicately. "You don't have to be so gentle... they'll never come off again." "Yea but... you're still my delicate Divine, Ri." The silverette chuckled, gently kissing the tanned cheek, jaw and neck. "I can endure your love, Sora. Forever."
Forever is a long time. Not even a Divine could grasp the meaning of the word 'forever'. Not even a Divine knew that things never last forever.
Months passed by and the first baby in Divine's realm was born. Unfortunately, it was a boy but his mother loved him just the same. He had his father's eyes and surprisingly enough, was born with silver hair, much like the Divine's. It was Divine's personal gift to the family. They named his Xemnas and Caleb loved his little brother so. The little boy wasn't the only miracle in their new life. Hatori and Jet had put aside their differences and for the first time, the two clans sat in the meadows and spent the day with one another. Peace and happiness reigned for years to come really, even a few more Unbroken landed and were welcomed, most being females. This, of course, started reproduction and more babies were born. The clans began to mingle, even the Divine. Because building wasn't allowed, Divine pushed her walls further and more land became pure and livable.
Sores on people's skin started to clear up now that fresh fruit and vegetables were introduced, making the people healthy. The water too brought them clean places to wash up and to manage their new clothes, all weaved by the silk of the spiders and caterpillars. They were stained different colors to represent their clan but they remained equal and peaceful. That was, until generations started to pass away from old age. Divine herself knew that birth and death went hand in hand. The humans were not granted eternal life, making Riku and Kadaj, along with the others, have to go through the pain and grief of seeing their lovers grow old and die. Life wasn't the same and their spirits fell with their hearts, fell with their scales until they too one day disappeared completely.
Kuku's words only haunted the world nearly a century later. The respect and blessing was lost to the new generations of SkyFlyers and LandChasers and soon, fires were built, trees burned and cut down, animals slaughtered and battles raged. With her children all dead and gone, Divine didn't second guess her decision to banish those who broke her rules, pushing them back into the deserts where the people did not know how to survive. People started to die and riots became plenty. The pools of light became tainted with blood and species went extinct. The riots stretched across the land until it reached the Crystal Palace itself and the shimmering bricks were knocked down and destroyed. It was only a matter of time that Divine herself, also fell.
With the great dragon's death, came the death of her land, her animals, her vegetation, her dream of a world untainted, unspoiled. As her brilliant eyes started to close, she was sure that the last thing she saw as an apparition of Kuku himself.
The shield that once protected them from the world's brutal sun collapsed and it only took a matter of minutes for everything to die off completely, turning into dust and evaporating. The human kind and descendants of the Divine only lasted days longer until they fell as well.
