"Haaaa...." Roxas breathed slowly, feeling Axel shift against him in a telltale way, and from the extra warmth that splattered on his hands he knew what that meant. He leaned against the other for a few moment before he sighed and pulled away some, leaning against the bark of the tree. His pants had slipped some so they held onto his hips, and he winced, feeling bark digging into his ass.
He shifted uncomfortably, trying to pull them back up with one hand since his other was well.... dirty, but he glanced up at Axel and his jaw dropped a little, seeing what he was doing. His cheeks flushed as he said, "Y-You're EATING it?!" What was it?! A fine delicacy?!

A single eye opened at the shocked call and he could only grin around his fingers. He pulled them out, his eyes closing again as he hummed. "How else do you suggest we clean up?" He questioned and when Roxas opened his mouth again, 'dirtied' fingers pushed through the hot cavern, making Roxas taste the salty bitterness. He only chuckled from Roxas's reaction and pulled his hand away. The rest was smeared on his pants, knowing he could clean them in the ocean's water when he got back to camp.
He pulled his sliding pants up and tied the stings to keep it around his thin waist. Slowly, he pushed off the tree, his balance quickly being regained before turning and walking the way he came. He paused though when he didn't hear anything behind him and glanced back, seeing Roxas still against the tree. Feet moved back and around, bringing the tall redhead back to the blonde and stood in front of him. "You alright? Need some help getting back to the shore?"

"G-Guh!" Roxas gasped as the bitter, salty taste of cum and sweat was suddenly on his tongue. He pushed his tongue against the invading digits, glaring deeply at Axel. He could of bit him... but he didn't as the other pulled away, the taste still lingering. He swallowed ruefully, shivering at it and gave the other a frown.
The other only laughed at him and fixed himself up before... waling away? Roxas watched his back retreating, before sighing and looking at his feet. That was... it he guessed. Some spur of the moment thing? He should of known that-
He blinked as another pair of shoes came into his vision and he looked up. when he heard the other speak, his eyes widened a little in surprise. He wanted him to come too...? "Ah... y-yeah... I mean no!" He blushed, pushing of the tree. "I-I can walk..."

Axel gave the boy a smile, watching him carefully as he started to walk through the forest. He followed close behind and soon enough, they were back on the shore, Shesha sleeping peacefully. Axel was quick to start a fire and pull out some leftovers that he had brought from the Northern Water Tribe and started to heat it up to eat. Some more of the native fruits were picked and skinned, the juice easily washing away the bitter taste in their mouth.
The rest of the night was rather uneventful except the constant tossing the blonde warrior did and it didn't go unnoticed by the redhead.
The morning sun came over the land and like many mornings since a previous attack, the dragon awoke and watched the shadows as they stretched over the sand, making sure they did not form yellow glowing eyes. The rest of the group back at the village started to pack up and thanked the kids around their age for the shelter and company. One of the shortest of the boys went off to fetch Ila, bringing her down from her pen and walking her with the rest of the group. Of course Olette gave her a goodbye hug, much like Soran tried the day before. She waved them off as she watched them head down the trail and to the ocean shore where Axel and Roxas were already packing Shesha for the trip.
Ventus hurried over to his brother, yawning some and rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. "Morning, Roxas! I was worried about you last night when you disappeared... You could of told me you were with Axel." He gave his brother a pout. "And you missed some amazing food! Olette made a spicy sauce that was simply amazing!"
As the boys started to clean up the camp and pack their things onto the dragon and Eel Hound, two other figures stayed back a bit. A red eye glanced over at the bluette, having to see her off and bringing Ila down here. "It was nice to meet you, princess." 'He' spoke, his masculine voice coming back. "I hope I'll see you again sometime soon..."

"Oh uh... sorry..." Roxas replied hesitantly, the edges of his eyes darker than usual; signs of a bad night of sleep. "I just went to go talk with Axel really quick and uh... didn't expect to stay..." He shot a glance over at the red-head but the other was so preoccupied looking over Shesha, he didn't even notice. The blonde sighed in agitation his hand running through his hair, "and well anyways, I wasn't very hungry."
At least not for... food apparently.
There was a soft chuckle, Aqua's eyes amused from the ruse. "Well you know... the water tribe isn't so far from here. just across the ocean. Maybe... when all this is done and over with... you can come and visit? I'd love for you to see it."
"Um Terra... are you SURE you're going to be alright leading her?" Soran asked worriedly, seeing Terra pull the harness. The Eel Hound gave a little hiss, shaking her head. "Yeah, I'll be fi-NE!" Terra stumbled a few steps as the creature pulled her head up. He glared up at her and scoffed. "She just needs to realize I'm in charge." He nodded before holding the reins as he started to climb up her back. "Ah well um... if you say so...." Soran said hesitantly and on his shoulder, Invidia's ears lowered as she whimpered, watching as Terra sat on the saddle. "See? It's all about who has the poW-AAAAAAAAAAH!" Without warning, Ila gave a growl and suddenly shot over the airbender and Shesha, before rushing into the water. About twenty meters out, she stopped and started to swim in circles. Two point five seconds later, they heard a yell. "I'M GOING TO DROWN!!!" Of course he was in absolutely no danger, since Ila's arched back was completely out of the water.

"HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!" Came hysterical laughter, everyone glancing over at Axel who was holding his stomach. Fujin frowned a bit before glancing at Aqua again. "Are you sure you'll be coming back?" He joked before waving her off as she headed towards the shore. He watched from afar, sighing some. He would make sure... that he would see the Northern Water Tribe.
"WAAAH!! TERRA!" Ventus called, rushing up to the shore and flailing his arms. "Are you alright!?" Even though he knew the other wasn't in harms way, he was very uncertain about things. He glanced around the beach before spotting a piece of ply wood that must of been from the battle a few nights ago. He rushed over and dug it out of the sand before rushing back, placing the wood in the sand and watched it float. Slowly and carefully, he stepped onto it and luckily he was light enough to keep it afloat. His wrist flicked and his glider came out. He quickly airbend, making the air push against him and like a sail boat, he used his glider as a sail to float over to Terra.
He giggled some as he circled around the Eel hound, figuring that this would be a fun and safe way to travel AND make sure Terra was alright. "Don't worry, Ila! We'll bring you back home soon!"
Riku tilted his head some before shaking it, glancing down at the Avatar. "Well, I will be riding with Shesha. Though watching out for the Ocean Spirit, I feel at ease in the sky with the moon." He bowed slightly and headed over to Shesha where Axel was already getting himself situated on her. Her large wings spread out, slowly warming them up for the flight ahead. Finally, they were going back home.

OOC: Hey hon, I just wanted to remind you you have something on hold from Jodie/Japax here: community.livejournal.com/pkmncollectors/6714252.html?thread=182777228#t182777228They also wished you this: community.livejournal.com/pkmncollectors/6764897.html?thread=184283233#t184283233"I'm not sure anymore." Aqua sighed, shaking her head.
"FUCK YOU AXEL!" Came a scream in return, Terra not finding it amusing AT ALL. This stupid flipper thing was trying to kill him. He only felt a little better when Ven came over, though he watched him nervously as he sailed around him. "D-Don't do that what if you tip over?!" The other looked at him curiously and the brunette blushed and looked away. "N-Nevermind!!"
"Well.... if Ven is staying with them, I'd best go with Shesha too!" Sora announced with a little chirp to his voice as he hopped onboard. The silverette gave him a curious look and he smiled. "Well, it'll probably be a good idea to have one airbender on each animal - that way we can travel off messages if we need to!"
Aqua sighed as she glanced back one last time before passing the dragon. It was better this way. She wanted to invite her to come along but... now she wouldn't break her heart. When she heard Axel call and ask her if she was following with them she rolled her eyes and pointed to the ocean. "I think it'll be better if the waterbender is in the water!" She chuckled before creating a path of ice into the water and crossing it quickly and easily, before jumping onto the Eel Hound behind Terra. "Afraid of heights AND water? You're such an Earthbender!" "Oh shut up!"
Roxas sighed and when Axel called he walked over, climbing up onto the dragon. No way was he traveling with the others - he wanted to live this year.

OOC: Ah, thank you. I'll get back to her when I get back. We'll be leaving around 4ish so I'll be home around 6/7pm my time. I tried getting on AIM but it keep bumping me off here. D:
With a mighty flap of her wings, Shesha brought the group up off the ground. The wind blew small, weightless debris around the area but the airbender was quick to shield himself before waving to the group. A red eye slowly looked towards the ocean, seeing the three manage to get Ila to chase after the flying creature and away they went. "Goodbye..." A more feminine voice arose once again before the figure turned and headed back for what was left of the village.
For once, it seemed like the Spirits were giving the group a break. The weather was perfect with the sun shining in a clear blue sky with little cloud cover. The ocean was marvelous, the water twinkling and calm. Well, except for some waves. However, they were truly enjoyed by a particular boy. "WHOOOOOOOOO!!" Ventus called as he rode the waves, his robe and shirt now aboard the Eel hound as he let the mist of the water cool his bare torso. His red glider reflected on the water's surface but luckily it did not attract anything but the smaller fish of the ocean.
The group could quickly tell when they were getting closer to the Fire Nation. The air around them became warmer instead of the cold that they were use to from the Water Tribe. The water itself became different, clearer and the fish were more colorful. They started to pass small islands and saw some cute little birds chirping at them as they swam and flew by. Soran of course was the first to ask what they were and Axel revealed that they were called Toucan-Puffins. Riku had to laugh when he heard Soran state that he wanted to come back and get one! They looks so fluffy and lovable, which didn't seem to please Invidia any.
As they continued, Terra and Ventus had to pause their journey for a large boat crossed their pass, being pulled by a mammoth fauna. It was friendly, calling out towards them as it passed by. The people on the boat, however, watched the small group curiously. They continued on and soon saw the large structure over the mouth of the Fire Nation port. "Ah, home at last..." Axel smiled before sticking his fingers in his hands and gave a loud and long whistle. A few minutes later, a large bird flew up to them, making the passengers marvel. Riku and Roxas stated that they had seen the bird before. It was usually a messenger for the royal family...
A note was jotted down quickly and placed into the bottle the bird had strapped on it. Axel's hand came up quickly and gave the bird a quick pet before it was off. It flew down towards a watch tower and the watchman opened the jar, grabbing the note and reading it before looking out at the ocean to see the surfing airbender and people on an Eel Hound. "OPEN THE GATES!" Slowly, the gates opened to let the small group enter as the dragon flew overhead. Ventus thought it would be a good idea to quit his surfing antics and came back to the hound, climbing up and sitting behind the princess. He pulled his shirt back on while he looked around the port, seeing large, massive and dark structures that were apparently boats.

The trip to the Fire Nation, though long, was not too unexciting. At least, they were able to keep themselves entertained. Sora especially seemed full of nervous energy, yapping away a million miles a minute - but even Axel was in a good enough mood to entertain the Avatar. He probably answered about a million questions from here to there. And of course Riku helped as much as he could to keep the airbender from jumping off the dragon and flying away.
Now that they were actually getting to their destination, Sora knew a lot of things were going to change. How COULD he sit still?
The only one quiet on the ride was Roxas and because that was not peculiar at all, no one really noticed the troubled gaze he seemed to have. No one could read the whirl of thoughts that spun in his mind like a cacophony of music notes, disjointed and harsh, without a maestro to lead it into song. And it all surrounded the red-head.
The only sad part about traveling upon two animals was they could not speak with the other three - although Ven was having so much fun, nether could Aqua or Terra! As for the water and earth bender, they seemed to hit it off quite fabulously; so much so it was almost a shame they would never get together. It would of been enough to make Axel jealous if he knew. Or put him to sleep, because their conversations, to most, would of been plain boring. 'Intellectual' conversations, one would call it.
They only time they toned it down was when Ven jumped aboard for a quick rest, because the talks were getting away with him. If the airbender realized it, he didn't seem miffed. He was content, even happy, they didn't get so into themselves that they forgot to include him on their conversations. You could almost imagine... the three of them making a great pair of friends.
When Ven joined them for the last time, the conversation nearly died out though, all three of them in a bit of wonder. You could feel it in the air, see it in the colors of the water and sky, that they were close. "What is that?" Aqua called, seeing up ahead two massive dragons erupted out of the sea, facing one another their mouths open. From their placement you could almost imagine something was meant to be between them. "It's an old security measure." Terra said. "The Fire Nation built these during the Great War, ensuring no one got passage into the nation. If someone tried to invade, an alarm would sound and a great gate made of rope would be pulled up, stretching for miles. The dragons mouths hold a sparker and if the alarm is tripped it will go off and the gate will be put on fire, trapping any boats for long enough that the Fire Navy standing nearby can get to them and ambush them." Behind them, Ven called nervously, not liking the sound of that. Terra only smiled a little and shook his head. "Don't worry Ven, they haven't used it since peace was declared." Even still though, as they passed, the three looked warily at the fierce, water-eroded dragons, as if expected the archaic alarm system to suddenly come to life and fire would burn them to nothing.
Nothing happened of course, and soon enough they were reaching another gate, this one less obtrusive and more straightforward. The entrance gate and as Shesha hovered overhead, Ila pulled up, treading water as they waited for the go ahead. Once the gates were opened, the two animals burst in.
"Woooow..." Sora breathed, looking down with surprising eagerness. In the dock were large structures - massive boats made of black metal and powered by steam and heat. Beyond though, the nation... it was surprisingly lush and full. For a nation of fire, one would never expect to see so much vegetation! The few buildings he could see had beautifully ornate red-shingled or tiled roofs with sharp ends like spikes at every corner that was the color of gold. He could of lived here...?

The two beasts headed to the main dock that was mainly for drop offs of goods and passengers. Slowly, Shesha made her way down and landed in the warm sands and the four got off. The bags were taken and as they were placing them in a nearby cart, the Eel Hound walked over and the other three dismounted. "This place is beautiful, Axel!" Ventus proclaimed as he looked around, holding his bag over his shoulders. "Of course. Now you see why I wanted to hurry back?" The redhead grinned, patting Shesha when everything was off her. "You're lucky, girl. You get to go home before I do." She understood the message and gave a roar before she was gone again, flying high into the sky and doing a trick or two that made some of the adventures laugh. It really looked like she was happy to be back too!
"Ah, what are these?" A voice pulled the head back and everyone glanced at Riku was was at the front of the carriages. "They're called Dragon Moose. Their one of the main haulers of this Nation." Axel explained as he walked over to the men who operated the carriage and carts. One of the men looked over, seeing the redhead waking towards then and easily saw the Noble Fire Nation symbol on his chest. He hit the man next to him and both stood straight. "Good morning." Axel grinned, his eyes narrowing as he looked at them. He could tell they were shivering and it amused him some. "M-morning!" One said, giving a shaky smile. "To the Palace please." "Right away!"
Axel walked back and motioned that they could all get into one of the two carriages. "There are a lot of dragon inspired fauna here, here?" Ventus questioned as the other two he was traveling decided to stay together. "Well of course. It was the dragon who brought us the lessons on how to bend, you know."

The ride was long, making the traverlers a bit restless. Of course, the palace wasn't at the dock's edge - it was further in, and like the Earth Kingdom, surrounded by a grand town. It took nearly an hour to get to town but the smells of cooked meat and the sounds of people soon told them they had gotten there.
In the carriage, Sora was fidgeting, pulling aside the ornate red curtains around the carriage up some and peeking outside. There was obviously something going on - the whole world seemed to be a flurry of activity. As they passed through the grand town that lead to the palace, he could see children outside playing, women hanging decorations in windows and stringing them up on the low hanging edge of the rooftops. Everywhere, little red paper lanterns hung, the fire nation symbol on them and he saw thousands of little ornaments that had the golden symbol of a dragon on them.
Had he not known about the festival, all this activity might have confused him. It really was going to be something grand, just like Axel promised.
There was a whine in his lap, Invidia licking her lips as they passed a little trowel of kangaroo rats that were being chased out by an angry cook with a broom, little pieces of food in their paws as they hopped away. He had to grab her around her middle so she didn't jump out.
He jumped himself though when Riku spoke next to him and he let the flap fall shut, a little guilty looking as he tried to distract himself. This was nerve-wracking... They had to stop a couple of times, the town hard to navigate through in places where fauna crowded the streets or people or large Fire Days festival items blocked the way. When they stopped for the fifteenth time, Sora gave a soft, agitated sigh wondering if it was another herd of koala sheep stopping them. But his throat became dry when one of the men handling the carriage called back... that they were there.
What?! Already?! It was too soon!!
"Wow!" Terra called as he eagerly got out, wanting to stretch his legs after the long, cramped ride. Before him stretched the palace, the buildings around him so enormous even he in all his 6 foot height felt small. The buildings at either side, large identical pagodas, flanked either side of the courtyard, raised atop slabs of concrete so tall it was obvious to get to them you're have to enter the main palace and travel a long way. Possibly servants quarters. They were connected to the palace with equally impressive hallways so huge who knew what was inside of them. Certainly not just a path. They were big enough to hold an entire zoo!
And the main part of the palace itself... it has three levels that jutted out and curved like a ship's bow, and the 'mast' was a tall skyscraper of a building, made of smooth red rock and at the very peak was a familiar symbol. The symbol of the crown - the same one the fire Lord wears in his top knot of hair. Aqua even whistled appreciatively as she looked around. "Well, the Fire Lord certainly doesn't live modestly." "M-Maybe we shouldn't be bothering him..." Sora stuttered, the last to get out, but from the way his face paled at the sight it was obvious he was about ready to dive right back into carriage.

Ventus had to stretch as well, slowly looking up at he massive building before him. Unlike Terra, he was use to such large pieces of art. The Air Temple was quite massive itself. Instead of marveling at it, he glanced back and blinked, seeing the city around him. "Wait, where is the ocean?" He asked, looking around in a complete circle before Riku placed his hand on his shoulder to stop him. "You can't see it from here. We're in a crater." "A WHAT!?" The air master cried, realizing that the city was in a circular plan and rough 'mountains' encircled it. "Is this safe!?"
"Yea, right. I think we've made him wait long enough, Avatar." Axel rolled his eyes before leading the way through the main entrance. The rest of the group followed, both Riku and Ventus having to coax Soran to follow as well. As they walked inside, it was dark though fire lit the way. Large tapestries line the walls and elaborate fire-themed images and moldings were laid out all throughout their journey to the back wing where the throne room was kept. Some servants bowed as they passed and much like before, Terra was in love with the architecture of the palace. "Sooooo, what do you think princess?" Axel grinned, looking down at Aqua as she looked about.
As she spoke, Axel couldn't help but glance back at the silent warrior that followed, frowning as he saw the look on his face... or more so the lack of one.
"Don't worry, Soran. We'll all be there for you when you see the Fire Lord. I don't think Axel will let you go by himself and I don't think the Fire Lord is like Riku who only allows few people in at a time." Ventus giggled, seeing an almost offensive look coming from the guardian. "What was that suppose to mean?"

"Well, if it wasn't I don't think the royal palace would be here." Terra said logically, trying to calm Ventus' nerves. It was probably chosen for the royal town due to to the meteor that must of hit this area. What must those ancestors have thought of it - a burning ball of flame and rock from the heavens showing it's power and ability to destroy... but also becoming a place of life for these people. They must of took it as a sign to show what fire came be in both ways. Destruction and life.
Of course, if they were attacked, it put them at a great disadvantage. Fighting from the lowlands is one of the worst military techniques; especially if it was Earthbenders they were fighting. He was sure though measures were taken to keep the royal family safe. Almost never was someone of royalty meant to go into battle and instead was often protected in a secret safe hold nearby but out of harm's way.
As they headed in, Terra quickly got lost in his own thoughts, his wonder apparent. In fact everyone, except Axel, seemed breathless at the absolute grander of the place. Everywhere they looked was decoration of scarlet red and silky golds and ashy blacks; the combination was eye-catching and hunger-inducing. Whether it was for actual food or just the immense wealth, it was hard to tell.
Yes, everyone was impressed except two. Soran, who was too nervous to really make room for any other feelings. And Roxas... who was showing nothing at all for a reason no one really knew; if they had noticed that is.
"Weeeeelll..." Aqua stopped staring at an ornate-looking statue of a golden dragon with red gemmed eyes, trying to brush the area off like it wasn't a big deal. She was royalty too after all! "It's a little over-grand for my tastes, but nice. And remember Axel, I'm not a princess here."
"Guys..." Soran mumbled patiently to the two as their argumentative tones came about, but he held Invidia close even still, not seeming very settled. Neither did his animal guide, her gaze furtive and uneasy as she hunkered down against the Avatar's chest her ears low but wings twitching as if ready to give flight at any moment. She whined uneasily as they passed another decoration - this time two swords mounted on the wall with golden hilts that had dozens of tiny gems of all colors - blues, greens, yellows, reds - designed around large diamond-shaped red gems that seemed to have the spark of fire inside of them. If Fire opals, probably. Something seemed oddly familiar about them...
"It's okay Vi, no one will hurt us..." Soran calmed her gently, petting her. I hope...

"What? What do you mean---" Axel paused, looking back at Soran who looked like something was about to attack him any moment. It was obviously nerves and he just rolled his eyes. Finally, they came to two large doors and Axel pushed them open instantly. "YEE!!" Ventus yelped as he felt Soran grab onto him, hiding behind his back. "It's ok, Soran... come on." Slowly, the group walked into the massive room that held many black pillars with elaborate gold bases that support the roof, and black tiled floors. There was an ornate covered throne on a higher platform, and it was surrounded by fire. A bas-relief image of a dragon breathing fire was behind the throne.
They slowly walked done the red carpet, Axel walking proudly and in the lead. He stopped a few feet from the platform and made a fist over his heart. "Fire Lord Huǒ, I bring you the Avatar."
Eyes slowly moved from the young redhead and looked over the small group, a dark eyebrow raising. "My Axel.... there sure are many of them..." He did not seem very happy about the size of the group. Axel swallowed some before turning, looking at Soran with a stern face that pretty much told him to step up. While he was doing so, the Fire Lord glanced at Aqua and his face changed into a shallow smile. "Why, princess~ It is a surprise to see you here. Welcome to my palace. I hope you do like it."

The minute they entered the room, everyone could feel the heat it contained. It was warm, like a sauna almost, and the only one unbothered by it was Axel. In fact he seemed to like it. Soran looked up tentatively as they made there way across the grand room where a man was sitting on an upraised stage on soft-looking pillows; an arch was built around him, as if to keep out the sun or rain, but of course the entire room had no windows. Sora flinched as Axel glared at him, unsure who he was more scared of, and he lent over, setting Invidia on her paws.
Aqua smiled, giving a respectful nod. Her demeanor seemed to completely change. Of course it would; she could not tell the Fire Lord what she truly thought unless she wished to offend him. "Ah yes, it is very beautiful and ornate. You keep such a grand place so well-maintained."
The blue-eyed airbender glanced at Aqua, knowing she was complementing the Fire Lord but he, knowing her well even after such a short time, could almost imagine she was making fun of him. He stepped forward, ignoring the fact that even still Invidia was following him protectively, and got to the front of the group. He gave the other a low bow, his mind racing with worries. "Hello Fire Lord Huǒ. It is nice to finally meet you. I am Avatar Soran."
