Small little bones started to piece back together, his spine readjusting itself from the traumatic break. Blood slowly started to flow through his body again as his lungs started to move on their own. The only thing that his body no longer did... was beat with a heart. It was dormant and dead, never to work again. Blood flow would have to be a manual process now. The first thing he really felt was the weight on him, feeling it only shift as he started to move, moaning some as he got up. His neck felt tense, making him roll his head some before shaking it.
Slowly, eyes of the moon opened and he took a deep breath of air, sucking in some foreign liquid that made him lap it up question. It tasted... amazing! He... he wanted more! His hunger for it became intense almost immediately as he licked his lips, enjoying every bit of whatever the new taste was. His attention was finally drawn to his siblings, seeing Roxas look at Sora as if he were a ghost... but it was indeed strange to see the tanner of them both to be much paler than themselves. But... Roxas was seeming paler as well.
He was about to speak when a scent hit him and he looked around, seeing the trees move in an odd way, never stopping. He looked behind him, seeing the dark manor but he gasped a bit as one of the statues by the door was looking at him. Since when did statues have real eyes? He would of inquired but that smell was so strong and he finally found the source. Blood. Dripping from the wounded horse not too far away. His eyes widened as he watched the red liquid ooze from the rip, dripping down onto the ground.
What... a waste.
He slowly stood, his feet wobbly at first but he didn't get far before he fell back to his knees in front of his beloved horse. Instead of cooing him like he had done only moments before, he reached out and ran his fingers over the wound, collecting the blood and shoving his fingers into his mouth. A strong muscles licked the digits, making him hum in satisfactions. It even seemed to make him feel strong? His hand quickly swiped up some more blood, not caring to be careful not to get it all over his hand. His tongue reached out, lapping at the blood as if he hadn't eaten for weeks, some of it even getting on his face. "Mmmm~ I've never tasted anything so good~~"

When Ven moved - as he was under both of them, both brothers also had to get up, the youngest distancing himself some from his eldest and still staring at him as if he were a monster. He licked his lips nervously... then his eyes went wide, his tongue exploding with taste of something sweet and salty. If he didn't recognize the smell of it, he never would of guess it was blood he was tasting.
And just that small bit of nourishment was enough to make his stomach twist in knots of hunger that was so painful it was maddening. When he heard his brother, his eyes focused on him... the sight of the blood... the pains grew in intensity. His mind snapped and he hurried alongside his brother, not even aware of himself as he gripped the horse's flank and lent over, lapping at the dripping blood. "Mmmm......."
Like his siblings before him, Sora too could now taste the blood left littered upon his lips by their murderer but all he could do was stare at his siblings as they feasted upon not the horse's flesh but his blood. He shivered, his sharp teeth puncturing his lip as he bit down upon it as if he was struggling not to join their meal. No pain compared to this except perchance watching Kairi having get together with potential husbands and all he could do was bring them more tea.
"Brother... come here..." Roxas murmured like a man possessed, his face too stained like his twin's and again they were a perfect mirror of one another. Sora could only give a minimal shake of his head. "Aren't you hungry?" "Nnn...." He tried to deny but even the word was hard to gasp out. Next he knew, Ven was at his side, urging him to his feet with a gentle touch and forcing him to his knees beside Roxas, urging him to eat.
Eat... blood was only the devil's food... But as Roxas moved away revealing that most of the blood was now gone his thirst grew, knowing where he could find more. He hardly knew himself as he hissed and with a violence that did not fit himself, gripping the horse's flank, his demonic nails digging in before he lent over... and sank his teeth right in, blood filling his mouth as the horse screeched. The twins shared a look before diving for the creature and soon the horse gave another cry as two more sets of fangs was embedded within his body. It flailed upon the dusty trail but with a strength they should not of had, the three were able to pin it down as they ate.

Uncontrollably, Ventus hissed back at his brother as he heard him hiss, his fangs covered in the horse's blood. But the tension faded as Sora went elsewhere, suddenly drawing up his own source of blood. Strange eyes seemed to be memorized, seeing fangs dig in effortlessly into the hide of the animal, making it scream from the pain, but the blood that gushed out made him lick his lips. He glanced at his identical brother before both sprang into action, finding a new, unspoiled area before sinking in their own fangs. It was like biting into a juicy apple, this fangs puncturing the skin easily as the delicious liquid started to fill their mouth.
It was unknown how much time the triplets feasted but when thirst was quenched, the horse emaciated. Almost all of its blood had been sucked from him or lost to the earth below. His cries had depleted awhile ago, unknown to them when it had died. It was unfortunately that such a well, loved and exquisite horse suffered a painful and agonizing death from his own master and siblings.
All three backed away, enjoying the feeling of their full stomach for probably the first time in years. Never were they able to eat as much as they wanted without whips or harsh words. But slowly, blue eyes opened, becoming normal and clear as he fell out of his trance of hunger. He felt stronger than he ever had before and as healthy as a--- "AAAAAAAH!!" He cried, his face still plastered with red and brown liquid as he shuffled away from the horse, his eyes staring wide. "V...Verrill....?" He whispered as he would of cried if he were still human.
Slowly he stood, his legs wanted to be weak but they walked easily as he stood over his beloved horse, kneeling down by its head before petting it's neck that too had fang marks. "What.... what is it that have I done...?"
The sounds of chains being broken rang miles away as the beta broke the lock that held the berserkers in their place. "AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" All three zipped through the woods as if they had been shot out of a cannon, all heading in the same direction but spread apart to destroy any one or any thing in their path. Foam poured from the gray-blue wolf, his X shaped scar seeming to split open as he rushed through the forest, slamming his claws and fists into broken logs, making them split and fly in all directions. The red female took down any branches, no matter how strong they were.
And behind them... was an army of wolves.
The Full Moon battle had begun.

The curse of the newborns was not well-known to them. They knew not how the weakness of hunger was such a strong drive that little could be thought of but to eat and the powers invested in them made such work easy. It is they that garnered such negative attention for their mindless and thoughtless hunger was brutal and terrible, leaving the scrapes behind for other's to find.
But now that they were what folktales and ghostly compositions were made of, they could see the terror they wrought. Soundlessly for a time Roxas and Sora - now with blue eyes as well - silently stared as their middle brother mourned the horse, disbelief on their red-stained faces.
They had done this? What monsters must they be to betray and harm their brother as such? Surely their time apart did not destroy their empathy?
Sora scooted over to Ven's side, and as he rose his hands he froze for a moment, just staring at the bloodied claws upon it. They were so wicked and inhuman he was sickened to realize they were his. But another cry from Ven had him moving it to wrap them around him, giving him a hug familiar to their youth. "I am so sorry Ventus... I do not know what came over me. ...What has come over us. I never would of pained you like this if I had of realized..." But the excuses felt stale upon his tongue. How could one excuse death?
"Do not be so harsh upon yourself brother." Roxas said, still where he has moved away but his eyes full of fury as well. "That man with the crow's face did this to us. He killed us and forced a change upon us... And now we are-" But he never finished his revelation as the world was split by the noise of breaking metal and terrifying howls. "...We are to make great haste away from here."
Heavy paws on the packed dirt made a tremendous noise, like the rolling of thunder moving across the heavens during a terrible storm. Most followed effortlessly though making sure to keep their distance. Only the strong and the careful could travel near the berserkering wolves, a snap of teeth and a snarl keeping them on a straight path to the mansion.
And trailing near the leftmost edge, his eyes intent on the blue wolf, was Demyx, waiting for his moment of chance to drive the other a different way. He did not know if he could sway him nor did he believe he had much strength... but he had made an oath he intended to keep.

Eyes closed as he felt the embrace, shaking his head for he knew it wasn't his brother's fault. He... he had done this too. The real person's fault was-- "That man with the crow's face did this to us." Was really his. He was the one who let his guard down, to actually believe that he might be a real witch. How did he become so foolish? Maybe it was because he lived a sheltered life, one away from the city and out of trickery. But knowing how Xion had broken his trust, he should of known better.
His eyes widened as he took heard the horrible sounds that were coming towards them, making him pull away from his brother. The sound of wood being ripped apart and the ground shaking made him detest the idea of running none. "Quickly!" He called as he pulled his brunette brother, making beeline into the forest. He heard more howls and his body seemed to produce a foreign hate as his legs moved faster than ever before. He knew though that they wouldn't be able to outrun whatever was headed their way, especially not reeking of blood.
It was indeed the smell of pooled blood that reached the grey-blue wolf. It was horse blood, about two miles away. Right in front of the manor? Was it a trap or was it something more? His thoughts were clouded, uncaring as he continued to charge with the others but like them, picking up the pace. Maybe there was some good meat left....

"W-ah!" Sora cried in surprise as he was yanked to his feet and thus dragged quickly for the forest path. But as they started to leave the area he realized with a widened of eyes only two sets of legs were running and- "Ventus!! Roxas, he can not!!" He cried before he tore hie arm away and turned, hurrying back. Their brother was sick and his leg lamed. How could he escape?!
When he found the trail again Roxas was just sitting where they had left him, his eyes wide and fearful as the sounds of the monster was getting closer and closer. "Brother get to your feet!" Sora cried, gripping his shoulders and accidentally digging in his claws with his haste to get the other up.
"S-Sora... I can not..." Roxas was saying as he was yanked up, unknowing to the fact he was healed. The mind was a funny thinking, placing a block among the belief and the truth at times so that you deceived yourself. "Just hurry away from here..." "Then I will carry you if I must! I refuse to leave you behind - not when we have just found each other again!"

Ventus skit to a halt as Sora reminded him of his lame legged sibling, almost forgetting about Roxas's condition over the years. And it was true he had a cold that would stop him short in his run. Without much further thought, he started to run after his brother, coming up to the clearing that held a desperate looking boy and two dead animals. There was a sick taste in his mouth as he could smell the scent of blood when he came closer, wanting to cover his nose but the sound of the forest crumbling came faster.
He grabbed Roxas's other arm before he helped Sora pull him to his feet and started to move. It was then... that Roxas cried out, alarming the two. They let him go... only to see that the gimp in his leg from birth was now... gone.
The paws moved quicker and the black berserker was still in the lead as he was the largest and strongest of the two. They came to a bank, having going down to the river but he easily jumped across with no issue, as so did the red female. The gray-blue berserker paused at the edge of the bank, his yellow crazed eyes looking at the water with some thought. It reminded him of something...
As the rest of the pack started to catch up and fan out, there was an important wolf who was running on his own, his partner seeming to sit out on their glory run. It was no clue to him that something was still close by.... until he was suddenly tackled with great force. The two wolves tumbled and kicked, snarls and growls filling the air as teeth and claws ripped aimlessly.

"A-AH!" Roxas cried, making both boys halt in fear that they had hurt him... but it was different from that. His leg it felt strange... almost wrong. As he was let go he stood easily, his hand pressing against where his hip jutted to find it... missing. It now mirrored his other hip perfectly as if the twist had re-done itself. "I... how is it possible...?"
The other brothers seemed shocked at this as well, but Sora shook his head the noise coming close enough to hear some snarls. "We will worry over the answers later. You are finally able to so, run Roxas!" Without further pause Sora made his way to the forest and Ventus followed and finally, taking a few steps tentatively as if they were his first... Roxas too picked up the pace, copying the way his siblings moved to hurry into a run.
Snarls and nips passed along the frozen blue wolf's flank but there urges did nothing, his body frozen as it ice stuck his paws to the earth.
His opportunity finally shone itself, a burst of speed being added to his paws as the yellow wolf did something he had never once dared too. He quickened his stride and lowered his head down much like a charging bull - before crashing his entire weight right into the silver-blue one and they went crashing into the waters, the river taking them both away with little notice from the others'.
The black and brown wolves mind was cluttered with thought as his paws hit the ground, wondering what had happened upon his right hand. She was injured he knew but it was still her duty to come to him if she was unable to fight. He was so preoccupied in his thoughts he did not notice the danger that was upon him until he was thrown to the ground, feeling jaws sinking into his right flank.
"AROOO!" He howled in pain and fury twisting his body and his jaws opened wide, clamping around the other wolf's head. scraping just a bare bit of space away from the other's good eye. The other tore away allowing the gamma to get to his feet and his ears flipped back upon realizing who it was. He snarled, "Fool! Get out of my way!"

Now with three sets of legs running fast, the triplets moved through the dark forest easier than before. It didn't seem to be so dark since their eyes now had low light vision. However, the forest to their left was now coming down, trees falling all around them. "AAAH!!" Ven cried as he passed a fallen tree by a hair, seeing that his brothers were no longer around him. They must of been split as they ran in fear, losing sight of one another.
That was when he stopped, hearing a snarl before looking around, spotting a wolf in the clearing. "OH NO! NO!!" He cried as the wolf started to run for him but he was frozen as stone. Fangs bared with hateful eyes as paws hit the ground hard before jumping and--- getting hit in the face by a boot. "HAA!" A female's voice rang through Ven's ears as he saw a blonde hair woman in men's clothing drop onto the ground, the wolf hitting a nearby tree before growling and shaking his head.
Ventus's eyes grew wide as he watched the two glare at each other, thinking the woman was nuts but also... sought her out to be familiar. He was quite sure that he had never seen this lady before... He backed away quickly as she let out a frightening hiss and the wolf charged again. Like some coward, Ventus ran behind a tree, peeking around to see the battle as the two struggled on the ground. Claws and fangs snapped at each other and it happened so fast that his stomach turned when the beautiful woman push her hand through the wolf's throat and ripped out it's esophagus.
The wolf was pushed off, laying as a bloody mess among the ground as the woman stood. The boy swallowed as she turned to look at him before huffing. "You best learn how to fight quickly!" She called before she rush off into the forest.
"AAAAAAAAAARRR!!" The large wolf cried as he was bumped in his bottom, making him and the other foolish wolf fall into the waters below. They created a large splash as they sunk deep under the surface, limps flailing to catch something to pause them. A fallen branch was grabbed by the larger and he pulled himself up, managing to shake most of the water off him as he growled in anger.
His golden eyes fixed on the golden wolf who was struggling to get on shore, his fur weighing him down. With a strong push, the berserker went flying through the air and only clumsily fell a few feet short from the other but his madness drove him to move effortlessly through the water to attack the other.
There was a grin from the black and gray wolf, his new wound bleeding close to his eye. "Even if I were blind, I could still make a fool out of you!" He snapped as his own ears pressed against his head and his tail flicked. "You think since you're daddy's little boy that you can mock me? Well now he's too preoccupied to make sure he's got your flank! I am doing what I should of done a year AGO!" He cried as he pounced the younger wolf, his teeth going right for the jugular but back paws kicked his stomach hard.
He growled as pulled away, only to bite at an ear instead. Like Xigbar had wanted, the rest of the pack was long gone.

"Ventus! Roxas!!" Sora cried to the open air, not knowing when he had lost his brother's under the darkness of the trees. His eyes widened when he heard a snarl though that definitely belonged to nothing but some great beast and thudding near to him. Something was after him... and it was faster than him.
He dare not look back, knowing it would hinder his run, but his eyes concentrated on the path before him, mind working quickly knowing to run a straight path would only lead to death when he noticed a low branch. He would have to time it right but he could reach the branch if he jumped and if he climbed quickly he could just stay up there!
He braced himself as he came closer and just when he was but a foot away finally placed some power into his knees as he pounced...
And his eyes widened in baffled confusion as he jumped ABOVE the branch he was reached for. Instead his stomach smacked into the branch nearly five feet above that one and he coughed, slumping over it. How did he jump nearly two lengths of himself through the air?!
He blinked dazedly, looking down upon the ground seeing what appeared to be a giant wolf rushing under the branch but turning it's head to look up at him, yellow eyes staring intently before it circled around and charged and with a pounce of its own jumped onto the branch Sora was originally aiming for. Before it could pounce again and lodge it's teeth into his hanging ankles, there was a shift in the air and a flash of pink.
The wolf fell from the branch, it's head separated from it's body. Sora didn't even have the breath to scream. "Hooo, you're a curious one aren't you?" He looked towards the sound of the voice, not even making a noise as he stared upon the face of the wolf's murderer. It was... a pink-haired man wielding a scythe. From it's tip dripped blood. "Are you the grim reaper...?" "I will be yours if you do not stop hiding upon the branches and help us deal with these dogs."
Where had Ventus and Sora gone...? That was all Roxas could think as he hurried through the forest, uncertain how he lost sight of them when he had been right behind them. He had only looked back for one moment, hearing the noise of their pursuers so close and then when he looked round they were missing. Had he become so blind...?
To accent his words, his foot suddenly caught upon an upraised root and he went crashing to the floor. He grunted some but his eyes widened when from the dark, fangs flashed and two large beasts suddenly burst from the forest, jumping for him. He jerked backwards but his caught foot served to only to spread himself upon the ground on his back like a delicious meal ready to be eaten.
They were taken away from the pack by the river, possibly a half mile away of so before Saix got his bearings and was able to pull from the water. Demyx kicked his legs, doing his best to follow after but unlike his human form he was unable to move as easily through the water thanks to his fur. His ears perked when he heard the vicious growl and saw the other wolf trying to charge in after in, water splashing everywhere. He yelped and swum to the other side of the water kicking out onto the bank and shaking himself off hurriedly.
He just barely managed to trot away, teeth snapping where his back leg had been before crazed eyes locked onto him as the wolf pulled out of the water. This was not as he planned but...
Demyx lowered himself some, tail curling up against him as he growled at the other. They were like that for many seconds, staring at one another, waiting for the other to move.
The howls of the other group drew Saix's attention though his head turning and he knew if he didn't act fast he would chase after them again. He pounced forward and smacked his paw right up against the other's face. The other's eyes locked onto him and with a fierce snarl he came charging for him but Demyx danced away and with quick feet started to run the direction they just came.
As he hoped... the mindless wolf followed after, intent on biting through him for that attack. He just needed to keep him running long enough to escape the scent of the blood... then he would no not which way to go and his job would be done.
That was... IF he could outrun the other. His leg still pulsed painfully from last night but he pushed on.
A paw smacked Xigbar right in the face, forcing him back and Terra was on his feet again, his eyes wild and furious. "How disgusting of a creature you are plotting to kill one of your own. And nothing else I am your nephew." His fur stood up as his fury grew. "You are even less respective then the Vampir!" He howled and charged his front paws smacking the other's head and his teeth clamped around the back of his neck where his scruff was, sharp teeth digging in hard.

The wolves only seemed to grin as they saw the helpless vampir laying upon the ground. It would be an easy and an enjoyable kill, their tongue lapping at their lips as they both came rushing closer. Their jaws opened--- and suddenly slammed shut as from above, long arms grabbed both their scruffs and with amazing power and force, they were flying into one another, into a tree. They huffed as they fell but shook their head as they recovered easily, seeing the tall figure seem to float down from the tree with ease.
"All you vampir will die and this land will be ours!" One of the wolves snarled as his ears went back. "You don't stand a chance, you are outnumbered this month!" The figure walked out of the shadows, revealing a brilliant red stock of hair upon his head; the color of rich blood. Emerald eyes narrowed, and with a blink they turned a yellow pearl. "Have you not forgotten it that it is not quantity but quality? You are turned and raised as dogs. You have the strength but doth not know how to use it. Come," He spoke with a rich voice as he extended his arm and his finger motioned a 'come here'. "I do not have all the time in the world to destroy you. I have others to preoccupy myself with."
Enraged, the two wolves charged. One went high as the other low and as if it was rehearsed, the tall man wrapped his hand around the muzzle ofthe wolf jumping for him, pushing him down at an angle as his other hand grabbed the one going low by the ear, pulling him around his back before using his strength coming up to send the wolf into the air. The one brought towards the ground hit hard at such an odd angle that the young vampir stuck on the root could easily hear it's neck break, probably bringing recent memories back to haunt him as the wolf laid dead.
The one that flew into the air had lose his ear, the vampir throwing it to the side uncaring. More horrid sounds filled the area as the wolf hit a large tree hard, easily breaking its spine and fell limply upon the ground.
There was a pause before the tall figure slowly looked around, his exotic eyes capturing that of the young one on the ground. He shifted, slowly walking over which seemed to startle the blonde, making him kick the root to be let free but when clawed fingers wrapped around his ankle, he froze. "I think I was the only one who did not mess their face when having the first meal." He spoke softly with some humor as his other hand ripped away the root, freeing the blonde.
The path that was one clear, leading up to the darkened and hidden manor, had a flash of a figure appear. His stringy blonde hair shifted in the night breeze as two large berserking wolves were headed right for him. Dark eyes fixed on the larger before they started to glow, making the beast's eyes glow as well. The human shaped figure rose his hand, making the wolf leverage in the middle of it's dash before he was suddenly slammed into the smaller female. Of course, this was the easiest way for master of the manor to get rid of the werewolves' biggest threat.
For now angered and so close, the two started to rip each other apart. Hopefully they would kill each other and he wouldn't have to worry about the survive. It would be the two wolves behind him that would cause him the most trouble. "Hatori... Ida.... so good to see you again." He spoke, a grin upon his face. "Did you not have more of those senseless mutts upon you earlier?"
A golden eye narrowed as the younger came for him, smashing his head low and feeling teeth in his scruff. He growled in rage as he shook his body violently until it threw his nephew off and he jumped back quickly. "I don't care what or who you are! NO ONE MOCKS ME!" He roared before charging the young one, seeing him dodge and quickly changed his stepping so that his powerful jaws still ripped open his right shoulder. As he heard the other cry out, he took the opportunity to pounce on him from the side. "You're nothing than a pest!" His paw swiped down, scratching Terra across the muzzle.

"A-AH!!" Roxas cried, throwing his arms over his face in a futile defense. His eyes were shut tight preparing for the end... which never came as he heard the high yelps of pain from the two. He lowered his arms slowly, and he gaped silently at the sight of his savior. His hair made him think of the fires of hell it was such a glorious red. And his eyes were like stolen emeralds, rare and fine and unique in their capture. His skin was pale, pale white and his facial features sharp though his countenance was bored.
He was silent through the entire exchange only wincing twice at the noise of breaks and flinched as the man came near, drawing his leg close when it was free. He reached up and place his hand against his face at the others comment, then frowned more not appreciating the jest. "What is it you creatures want from me and my siblings?"
"I would not call something senseless of which you do not understand." Came a surprisingly patient response, before a deep chuckle rumbled across the air, "And do not act as if you were not frightened of our numbers Kuku. I smelt the blood of the new you created by the horse just this eve. Are you finally beginning to realize your are far outmatched by our superior strength?"
Terra backed up some, shaking his head from the skimming blow. His yellow eyes narrowed on Xigbar and he growled. "And you are a traitor!" He would not let this man win. He was not as big but he was younger, faster! He would outdo him in speed!
He started to walk around the other Xigbar turning with him wisely so his back was never to him. He jumped forward, snapping his teeth into a shoulder before hopping back away from snapping teeth. He rushed him, this time his teeth meeting a leg and when Xigbar tried to yank back he clamped tight causing him to fall. He bite into the other's exposed belly without mercy.

A smile rose upon the other's face as he heard the question before standing upright. "We need some help." He put plainly before suddenly disappearing, or so Roxas though but he only ran off faster than the eye could capture to attack more of the dogs.
"They are senseless because I do not know. How can one put value in things in which they have no interest?" The other called back as he stepped forward. "I indeed pulled a tactic you are famous for, my friend; just to turn for pure number... but they shall learn. Besides, what am I to do but restock thanks to you." He stopped, the ground under him rumbling. "As so must you, I presume? Twelve more this month I sense?"
He slowly grinned as his eyes started to glow, looking deep into the wolves across his path. "Do you recall when it was once only you and I? How did it end up to this result?"
Xigbar cried out in pain as teeth chomped down into his gut, making blood splatter across the ground. Even quicker, he couldn't always get away from the large beast as well as he thought. A strong arm with sharp, mature claws gripped onto the back of Terra's neck before flinging him away with ease, making the young wolf smash into a tree. The odd colored wolf stood, panting as blood dripped from various places, making the ground bubble with a sort of poison. "It is foolish for you and your bitch to think you can outdo me! Once my pups are born and grow... you will all surely pay!" He barked before he jumped back and turned tail before Terra could get on his own feet without them collapsing under him.

Roxas stared at the nothingness of the area, hardly able to compute how fast Axel had left. He stood slowly and shakily but instead of running to the man's aid he turned and started to run back the way he came.
What... what was this madness?! Help with what?! Killing these... these horrid creatures?! He could not do that!
A malicious grin was upon Hatori's face, his tail actually seeming to wag with pride at the fact he was dwindling the Vampir number and at his increased one. But, being the pack leader, he could sense those who were falling. He already counted four dead and four injured.
At the old vampir's question he snorted but glanced to his side at his mate beside him. "Ah, you know how." He had fallen for Ida many a year ago when she was but youth, a simple country girl without much hope for a husband, for her family could not afford dowry. He visited her for many days, though their ages were gaped. He waited days upon weeks and months before she was finally suitable to turn. From there they made a family... and he made a pack to protect that family.
And that stemmed his need to keep Kuku and his vampirs even further from him.
His ears perked just slightly, feeling another one of his fall, not dead but injured. He held a growl in, not letting Kuku know he was upset. "Terra is injured... He is still by Ciar Brook." Came a whisper through his mate's mind.
"Empty words Xigbar..." Terra growled softly as he struggled to stand even though the other wolf was long gone. He huffed as he finally managed to get to his feet before he turned, limping towards where the battle was commencing. He did not even make it to the river before he collapsed once more.

Eyes seemed to shift, looking at the female by the alpha's side. Of course. "I am the last to want to make bonds with you and your kind, but this monthly chore is bothersome if keeping your family safe is your only excuse." Kuku frowned but he found it peculiar as the female quickly left the other's side and started to run back the way they came. For wanting to keep his mate safe, sending her off with four powerful and brutal vampirs out there wasn't a good choice. But he kept his tongue as he loosened some, his muscles relaxing.
"So it will be a solo dance tonight, will it not? I once again speak of the past when you were not even the thought of existence and I was able to sit back and enjoy the liquid of life freely. These are my part and no toll man will take it from me."
"Haaa.... haaa.....na-aahhh...." The panting of a young man could be heard as he rushed through the woods, having seen more battles and brutal deaths as he ran for his own life. He even heard the cry of a horse far off and he was sure the whistling through the trees were arrows or stakes. How did that hunter manage to live through all of this chaos?
As he was distracted, he found himself in a clearing by the river than ran through this neck of the woods. He stopped, placing his hands on his knees as he panted and swallowed, trying to get his breath. At least now he could clean his face from the remembrance of his once noble horse. However, before he could even find the strength to climb down, he heard a low growl and looked up... right into the eyes of a beaten down wolf.
