"HEYAH!" Silver hair whipped behind him as his black stallion pushed his strong legs as fast as he could, the horse riding in the path that his master insisted. It was rough and unlike before, no greenery moved to help them along the path. The scent was easily in both their noses, like a decaying, rotting substance that would make anyone cringe. The horse jumped over logs, bushes and anything that was in their way on the forest floor as the hunter cut down and dodged the branches and vines before him, willing to dismount him.
Finally, they came to the manor hidden in the wood before he quickly came jumped off, ripping one of he bags off the horse before applying it to his belt. He rushed up the stairs and turned the knob... only for it to break off. "UGH!" His leg was pulled up and he kicked the door open, much like when he did the same to Lilo's. The second he entered the manor, a vampir upstairs started to turn his eyes from the smell he brought in. The redheaded lord growled as he stood from the bed, his lover wondering what was the matter as he rushed to the door. As he tugged on the knob though, he realized it had been locked.
Kuku did not wish for him to interfere.
Riku quickly rushed through the manor, following Lilo's scent and busting through all the doors he had come to for they were all locked. Finally, he found his way to the barred door, his clawed hands reaching under it to pull it up but it wouldn't budge. Still he tried, his efforts failing before panic started to pulse through his veins, becoming pure anger. With a great roar, his fangs grew and the vampiric strength came forth, pushing the rusted bar from it's hold and the door was pulled open.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAH!!" Lilo screamed as her lover's dripping fangs came down upon her... only for them to meet metal. Fangs strong pierced the metal bracers before he was suddenly back handed hard, making the vampir go flying. Messy, wet silver hair fell upon the hunter's face as he hissed and snarled at the brunette, his body coming before the woman to hide her. "Stay away from her!"

The poor brunette, tortured and lost, did not expect the interruption but he certainly felt it when the hand came upon him and he flew like a broken-winged bird across the room. There was a smack of the body meeting stone, the clean snap of a bone. The Vampir slumped against the stone, shaking even so lightly from pain glad it was but ribs that had given way this time.
But like a creature caged too long and with death knowingly looming soon, he was not quite willing to give in yet. His eyes opened, hearing the growling order, but his mind did not precisely process the words. All he saw in his madness was the being between him and his food. Even though a halfing he was much stronger then him now and the battle was already lost. Yet desperation made one sometimes want to go down fighting.
With harsh breath, the younger laid his palms on the floor and drew his legs under him, his whole body tensing as he readied for the spring knowing it would be his last chance. After this he knew he would have no more strength. And even if he were able to get his fangs into the vampir, the blood would do nothing for him. He needed the woman. He would not lose to this hybrid of a creature! He was a true...
Had he been watching himself, not even Sora could precisely explain what happened. He had simply shifting a hand and then suddenly something swung in his vision - silver and glinting even in the poor light of the basement. His crown pendant; the sight of it brining about the emotion of nostalgia and rememberance. At that same moment, his track of thoughts brought a memory.
"SHOW ME THAT YOU ARE A TRUE VAMPIR!"
And fury clouded his mind as he realized what a trap had been set for him, what a foolish trap. He knew not he was not meant to live here - he was meant to lose. That voice... the voice of his... of his master...
He wanted to prove he was right... and in the worst way possible. The scents reaching him now - he understood them faintly. He recognized Lilo... and Riku. To be a true Vampir did not mean he would be a monster.
All this, the entire scene of his thoughts and strange hesitation, happened as lightning quick as his hand. There was a screech of pure agony in the basement and a body fell. For a long, arduous moment there was silence, nothing and no one moving. It almost felt like it would never end, and no one took a breath.
Than Sora, twitching, curled in on himself hissing as he shook upon the stone floor.
In his chest, thrust there sharp points first and cutting so deeply he was almost completely paralyzed, was his own pendant.
Vulnerable and weak and somewhat mindless, he laid there, only one thought running through his head, for he was not the true danger here. "Get... Get her home... Riku...... hurry...."

Harsh pants came from the hunter as he readied his sword, waiting for Sora to spring into his pounce. He knew it though at the blood - or what was left - that would come from this vampir would not make his heart grow happy. No. This vampir was different. He was the fox that nursed the kitten. He showed the true reality that not all creatures must do what nature intended. He was a gentle creature and took only what he needed and never harmed the best blood available. He did not deserve to die by the blade of a spiteful hunter, nor the torture of starvation. He would, however, protect this woman if he needed from this maddened saint of a demon if he must.
When Sora fell to the floor though, the blade slowly lowered as two sets of eyes looked upon him. One of disbelief and one of pure worry and heartache. And then the words of truth. Riku gasped some before his eyes narrowed, turning to the woman behind him. "Come, Lilo! We must hurry!" He called as he pulled her up from the ground, feeling her shaking. "NO! I cannot leave him!" Lilo cried as tear ran down her cheeks, lips quivering as her heart ached. "PLEASE! LEAVE ME HERE!" "Do not be fullish! DO NOT BE SELFISH! You are not only needing to protect yourself anymore!" The dhampir hissed, his eyes becoming softer towards her as she seemed to realize his dual meaning. "Riku..."
She was pulled from the floor all the way and lifted into the silverette's arm. Quickly he rushed back up the stairs, only glancing back at the brunette still on the floor. "I shall return for you!" He was then gone, rushing through the house that now seemed to be completely open. He could only hope that his horse had been spared with his absence and he quickly found out the answer as he burst from the manor to see the black horse padding as he waited. He did not know it but the spell had been broken and the vampirs locked in their bedrooms were now release as he helped the woman upon the horse before mounting as well, the reins hit and they were off.
As the horse sped off back towards the city, the whole forest seemed to be after them. The branches seemed to elongate, obstructing the path even more and trying to dismount them but the hunter was too skilled for this. The hissing and growling came soon as furious demons came after them. It was only two who stayed upon the house, only for the sake of the newborn blonde who held his lover back. It was another blonde who was not fortunate as she came down right in front of the horse, spooking it for a moment. She grinned, her fangs flashing as her pearl eyes became wild. "Looks like I shall finally---AAAAAAAAAAAH!!"
She had not seen the bow getting ready for her arrival and the stake was shot, piercing her threw. The hunter and his lady did not wait to see the only female vampir fall upon the ground, a rose haired vampir appearing at her side quickly. As he snarled and glanced up, the hunter was gone.

Sora wished he had the breath to laugh, even though there was little truly funny to be amused about. It was just, he realized after all his doubt - the seed Kuku had planted at the beginning of the week - he found again the blonde master was wrong. Riku... perhaps he did intent to betray him at one point... but that was true no longer. Kuku had been the one to lose tonight.
But unfortunately, the silverette would not make it back before he was killed. He had nothing left. Not even Kuku needed to come down to finish him off for his time was drawing near. His eyes shut, hiding the mixture of colors his eyes had become. At least he knew Lilo was in good hands. He was not a fool, he knew how much the man cared for her and that statement he yelled...
No, Sora was no fool.
The brunette's body grew limp, the pulse in his body growing evermore silent.
In the forest another set of feet landing on the floor beside the rose-colored man, his eyes growing dark at the sight of the fallen, dead Vampir. He frowned quite seriously, glancing upon his comrade before looking at the trial. They could continue to chase him of course, but the dhampir was always the trickiest of souls. He turned to Marluxia, waiting to see what he would say.

Pearl eyes narrowed as he too watched the trail before glancing at the other blonde who was now at his side, ignoring the steam coming from the fallen woman. "Nous serions sots pour le suivre maintenant. He shall return and that is when we shall strike. More dangerous he is with something he is protecting." Then he was gone.
The horse stormed through the city, coming to the woman's flat quickly before the hunter jumped off, helping the lady down as fast as possible. "Riku! You must---!" "I KNOW! Now get inside and protect yourself, they may come after you!" The silverette called before he quickly mounted his horse once more before he was off. Lilo only watched for a moment before she rushed into the building, running up the stairs and back into her flat. The door slammed behind her, making sure she locked it all up before rushing to her room. Drawers opened, some falling as she frantically looked for something important.
When she found a hidden piece of chalk, she quickly got to her knees and started to draw upon the wood. It was quick though precise as an image of a snake seeming to eat his tail was drawn around her. She quickly stepped out, drawing a pentagram inside of the space that the snake was circling. Small symbols were sketched in the side of the star before she carefully stepped over it and closed her eyes. "Thrice around the circle's bound, Evil sink into the ground. Thrice around the circle's bound, Evil sink into the ground. Thrice around the circle's bound, Evil sink into the ground."
Thrice around the circle's bound, Evil sink into the ground. A purple hue started to form around the edges of the hunter as he entered the forest once more, going down the old beaten path again towards the manor. He knew he didn't have much time bit his muscles seemed to relax as he felt the majick around him. As he passed by a number of spread out trees, he heard a horrible hiss above him before seeing a flash of rose color but it was quickly dispelled. "UUGHH!" Marluxia hissed as an unseen power pushed him back into a tree, making him slide down and shake his head. He could only snarl before disappearing once more.
The horse was stopped at the manor and the silverette quickly hopped off, grabbing his sword and some daggers, shoving them into his belt as he rushed up the stairs. Why was he not seeing the master vampir...? Was this all a trick? What this is plan? Was he... in the basement, finishing Sora off. He did not become discourage as he passed through the doors, feeling the majick counteract and his protection was gone. Strong legs pushed him through the rooms as quick as possible, keeping his ears open for any sudden attack. He was able to get to the door, pulled it open and rush down the steps... only to hear it close behind him. Riku snarled but quickly remembered why he was here, looking to see Sora was still in the same place he had left him... and near death.
"SORA!" He called, rushing to the man's side and coming to his knees, his cape fluttering behind him as he pull the crown pendant from the wound. He had... deliberately poisoned himself? "Sora, come on, let me..." He touched the vampir, realizing he was not responding. He wouldn't be able to make it out in time for this vampir to live, nor be able to do it easily. He had to do something, and now. Without any effort, Sora was pushed onto his back and a pale wrist was suddenly cut upon a buckle on his boot that was not pure silver. Rich, red blood started to fall and it was pulled over Sora's mouth. It dripped pass his lips and as it did so, Riku ripped the pendant from Sora's neck so he could not fight the offer.
Since the hunter was still human in a way, the blood would not be rejected like he had once rejected the vampir's blood when he was starving.

Many would say he was a coward - but after watching his comrade get smacked back, Luxord hesitated from doing the same as he, sitting in his branch where he was perched to attack and simply watched the horse fly under him. The sting of the scent of witch magic was strong about him. This was a fight no Vampir but their master could take on.
He slowly backed away into the forest, becoming one with the shadows.
Up in the manor, several stories above, Roxas finally lackened his grip on his lover, looking down at him as he strangely turned calm. The green gaze of his eyes was slowly coming back to him - whatever had happened... was it over? And why was he not affected?
He knew not that it was because of the target, because he knew not the target was still even alive. Vampirs knew well the strength of blood and Kuku knew better the how tied blood - those of twins and triplets - held some of the strongest magic of all. Now even he, such a great and strong master of magic, could have convinced he or Ventus to do anything that would in some way harm their brother.
And killing his lover and friend certainly fell upon that category.
"Axel... are you alright?" Came a concerned askance, clawed fingers tentatively running through red hair.
And down below... a life was being saved.
At first nothing occurred, the blood spilling past parted lips freely. But as the trickles made it past his tongue and down his throat fingers twitched. Slowly, much like the first day he awoke, his eyes opened. The taste upon his lips... so fresh and sweet. The power and seduction it held over him so strong. In his vision, he say the man hovered above him and knew it was his blood.
With his last conscious thought trembling fingers touched his chest... to find it bare of the item he needed so desperately to cease himself from the crime he was about to commit. But it was gone; and Riku had sealed his own fate as the Vampir lost his mind to his hunger.
Eyes turned a deep pearl as fingers grabbed onto the other's wrist, his mouth opening wide before with a snarl the fangs jabbed into the soft, giving flesh. He felt the flinch and it only excited him more as he fed for the first time on human blood.
After a time, he fought him, a little. Tried to pull away. Nothing more than an annoyance of a fly on a horse. Sora hardly noticed as he tossed the silverette on the ground and traded the wrist for his neck, sharp fangs piercing hard into the jugular vein. By that time even if the thought occurred to Riku to use his weapons... he was too weak to move, his fingers only spasming a little at the idea.
Yes a life was being saved...
But one would die as well.

Axel only shook his head, frowning some as his mind came back to him. "Master... the dhampir came into the manor and he called upon us to attack. I suppose... it is done now." Slowly he sat up, wondering how that was even possible. The hunter knew well not to come into the jaws of a shark or he would certainly die. "I could easily smell him but I do not know why I could not use mine own head." He stood from the bed, slowly pacing around the smaller room that had many accents of red before pausing. "Something is amiss. It seems that... a clan member might of been... taken down."
In the city, the witch continued to stand in her protection circle, though her chants stopped and she would only say one if she heard something upon the door to keep evil from her flat. Eyes opened as she felt something upon her, something horrible. She looked back, seeing a candle holder that had three candles lite and oddly enough... one was burning little until it finally went out. "NOOOOOO!!"
"Aaah....ktch...." Pale claws dug into the vampir's hair as he could feel the fangs rip into his neck like horrible needles sucking one's life from them. It was precisely that and he knew that he had finally become foolish enough to get himself killed. He had dealt with the feeding from his wrists but he did not know the extent of it until he was too weak to fight the demon as he came to his neck. His body was being sucked dry from life's essence, his veins collapsing as blood no longer flowed through them. Any pigment that held in his flesh was gone and his skin seemed to collapse in on itself slightly.
"You know it is true, young dhampir, that you shall surely die by the fangs of my clan. You cannot keep yourself so secure all the time. You are still human and you shall make a mistake. When it does, you shall realize who is the greater being."
He had never listened to the master of the forest manor, too young to feel like he had any flaws. It was still like that a few minutes ago until he realized that he was right. Once bright, aquamarine eyes were now dull and could hardly stay open, darkness fogging over his sight until he could truly no longer see. His heart no longer received what it needed to pump and his lungs gave one last breath until his whole body became limp. His arm fell hard only the stone floor below as his head hooked to the side it was leaning.
The dhampir vampir hunter was finally dead.

The blonde upon the bed started and he hurried to his feet. "What?! Someone... died?!" He felt guilt lash his heart - had he not held Axel back, would a death not of occurred? It was no doubt the Vampir before him was the second strongest of their clan as he he was second eldest.
"W-Who...? Can you tell...?"
It was like awakening from a fog.
Ad the last drip of blood hit the bit of Sora's stomach and his fangs pulled away, instinctively knowing there was nothing left, he came back to himself. His mind righted itself now that his stomach was finally satisfied after so long as he pulled away from him meal.
At first though he just stared at him, his mind not comprehending it. For a moment, he didn't even recognize him, the tray blood having dyed some of the fine silver into crimson red. But as he stared for a time... he realized he knew this man.
"Ut.... R-Riku...?" Came the shocked gasp. Quickly he moved off of him, sitting instead at his side. He reached out, finding his fingers were trembling as he laid his hand across one, pale, cold cheek. There was no response. "Riku!" He called, gripping the man's shoulders, shaking him in futile. The body simply jerked from his touch but their was no gasp of breath, no flutter of eyes opening.
And in his head, there was something disturbing there - something unusually out of place that usually was there every time he was around this man.
His heart beat.
... It was gone.
His grip slackened, the body fell limply to the ground. Sora's hand raised to his own mouth, knowing whose blood it was. Knowing... it was he who killed him. After all that struggle to earn his trust, his friendship... after finally showing Riku there was more to life then fighting and death and pain....
He killed him.
He killed him!
His hands fell to the other's shirt, feeling nothing underneath. Not a breath, not a beat. Riku was so still and it was he who had done it. "Oh... Oh god... oh Lord no..." Sora whispered, feeling sick with the knowledge, and guilt and self-hate wrapped around his heart like the slithering snake of Eden. "Oh Riku." He moaned in agony, laying his head upon the man's chest, his fingers gripping handfuls as he shook and quivered. He wanted to scream and scream until he suffocated himself, but he could not find the air.
Yet there was something in his body that belayed something, the way his shoulders shivered, the way he heaved out great sobs. Any Vampir who looked upon his face would have been shocked.
But a human would know only sympathy - for falling down his face like rain, was the greatest show of sorrow.
Tears.

Emerald eyes slowly shifted as he turned to look down at his lover. "No, I cannot. The only vampir who knows exactly who died without truly witnessing it is the master for we are his children." He moved across the room, pulling the shutter open to see the master's tower. "I fear that Kuku is behaving odd for a powerful aura is coming off him. Perhaps he is working on a spell..."
As the brunette vampir sobbed, he did not realize exactly what was happening below him. Indeed, the hunter was dead, most of his blood taken from him but as the blood became old and his organs completely shut down... they started back up again. The dead brain lite up, becoming active and quickly sent signals to the other parts of the body as fast as it could. Riku took a sudden gasp of air, inflating his lungs once more and the blood that was left started to circulate on its own without the heart. Fingers slowly twitched and pearl, hollow eyes fluttered.
Foam quickly started to build from his mouth though as the pure starvation for blood made his mind overcloud his birth. His fangs became longer, sharper than what they had been before when his mouth opened as if he were a baby bird looking for their mother's or father's food offering.

The young blonde shifted from the bed, walking over to his lover and looking out as well. He moved closer to his lover, too feeling the waves of power lifting from the tower and sweeping over the manor. It was tremendous, and in his heart, he knew it did not bode well. He had never felt so much anger before...
"Axel... I'm scared..."
A soft gasp fell from Sora's lips, his sobs cut off from his surprise. He lifted his head quickly, looking down upon the man who was just dead - and his eyes widened to see the hungry gaze, the eyes wide open. Instinct drove him, and he quickly rose his hand to his lips, fangs piercing his own skin and dragging down quickly. Blood welled and fell but he was quick to place it at the other's lips. Somehow he knew... it would work this time.
And to his peace of mind, he felt the other begin to feed. It was a strange feeling, Sora had to say, for he could feel the blood being sipped from his veins like a straw. How odd it was... Unlike the former, Sora could easily pull away when he felt that at least half of his blood supply had been returned to the other, his strength much greater. They were both severely weakened... but alive. He licked the wound closed on his wrist before he lent over, pushing Riku's head back to swipe his tongue over the bites in his neck and soon enough the cuts upon his wrist too. The only wound left upon either of them... were three small strips of wounds lacerated across Sora's chest. Yet he paid that no mind,
"Riku... are you well...?" The brunette asked tentatively, not even noting the wetness still upon his cheeks as he gazed at the hunter.
Unheard under the thickening rain, paws hit the moist dirt at a frantic pace. Some puddles were rushed through, bringing up glitters of water into the air and still he ran and ran. Open jaws let a tongue loll out, harsh pants coming from him. No one who saw this beast could figure what he was running from - nothing was behind him - not another challenging wolf, not a beasts prey that became his dread, nothing at all.
Most would never guess it was not what he was running from but who he was running to.
Kuku too might not have understood it, though it must be said the leader Vampir was very knowledgeable. Yet, lycan were connected to their mates in a way that was unreal. Hard to precisely explain, Eskel could of only said that day that he knew something was amiss with his lover and he needed to attend to him - immediately. His pace quickened evermore, knowing his time was drawing short. He must make it - he had to!

Axel slowly wrapped his arm around the young vampir by his side, watching the tower carefully. For all his years in this form, he had never felt so much anger come off the master of this manor. Sure he grew angry with things such as the war between territory and that when Sora had stepped up to him. He had even become angry at himself for the slaying of some of his dearest friends. Nothing topped this though, and he suddenly realized what it was as a new, strong power came over him.
His eyes turned back to pearl as he sniffed the rain filled air but he picked up no foreign scent. "I see...." He growled some, making the blonde pipe with panic. "A new master has been born within the clan. It is... highly forbidden. Unheard of even..."
A soft whimper came from the newborn vampir as his meal was pulled away but slowly, as his pearl eye rolled to look upon that who gave him his first drink, he realized he was given what could be spared. A pale finger reached up, wiping the tears away. "Do not cry for I, master." He spoke softly as a gentle smile came across his lips. "For I am free from my torment. No longer am I obsessed with the blood of vampir upon the ground. My soul... it is calm now." He pulled away, his eyes wearily looking around the cell. "We must escape this capture though or this freedom shall not last."
"HUH!?" Ven suddenly stood from the stairs of the library, looking out at the dark woods down the street. "Master...." He too could feel Kuku's rage now and he was sure many others not a part of the clan too could feel as shutters started to close around them. "I must go!" He yelled to his mate as he rushed out into the rain, hurrying towards the forest.
"And where do you think you're going, loup?" A figure suddenly fluttered in front of the wolf heading to the mansion. "It tis not the full moon yet, no?"

"But... but who would...? Who could possibly be so daring...?" Roxas whispered, a frown upon his face as his mind wandered the choices. It was obviously not himself nor Axel, and he could not imagine Larxene would do anything but kill her prey.
And suddenly, it was just as if he knew, there was only one man he had ever seen so brave or stupid. had witnessed it himself as he stood up to their master, spoke to him with a lashing tongue and a strong sense of mind even as he was beaten to the ground. A man who had left with his pride.
It was so obvious now - it all was. He thought he was dead... but that was a lie.
"....Sora..."
And now... his brother would be killed for his treason.
A mirrored smile fell upon Sora's lips at the other's words, feeling comfort at it. But when he spoke of their need to escape, he supposed they could work the details of their new nature later. "You are correct, let us flee." Sora said as he quickly was upon his feet and helped his... his friend to his feet. He paused but a moment to reach for something else - his crown pendant and chain. The clasp was now broken from Riku;s ardor, but he stuffed it in his pocket, intent on fixing it later as they were quick to leave.
There combined strength made the door no match, and soon enough they were speeding down the halls of the manor, the floor plan still knowledgeable for the brunette so he found the quickest route outside as he could.
"Wha - Ven!" Came a surprised cry, Terra watching as the blonde from his side suddenly rushed away. He withheld a growl before he too was on his feet and rushing after. Something... something evil was upon the air - and he would be damned if he would let his lover face it alone.
The man changed the moment he could, feet and hands turning into paws. He did not mind their swell as he hit the trees and rushed down a hidden trial, the scent of his lower gone under the rain - but he knew where he was headed.
"Get away!" Came the bark of the lycan, and possibly he surprised the rose-haired man as he continued to charge without fear. He had never been a daring wolf, thought his brash and brute strength had always been a great ally to their battles. He just knew it was a fool's errand to rush head forth into a fight.
But this time he had little care - he had to attend to his mate and nothing would stop that. He jumped straight for the other. Rather then taking him down and sinking his teeth in though, he went sailing right over the man, his back paws hitting the other hard in the back and thrusting him away. He hit the ground and kept running.

Axel gasped as he heard his lover's sibling upon his lips, his eyes widening a fraction before narrowing bitterly. "I must stop him." He announced before he opened the shutters and jumped out off the sill. He gracefully fell down into the courtyard, his feet landing as if they were feathers before he rushed to the east gate where it headed to the forest. He did not mind the rain soaking his red hair as he sniffed not the vampir but the new, youthful power he held.
"AAHHGGHH!!" The rose haired vampir was pushed back, stumbling some but caught himself. His body whipped around, about to chase after the mutt when he heard something call out.
Kaakaa!
Pearl eyes widened before he quickly looked behind him and upwards, seeing a large black crow looking down at him. He could only give a snarl, looking back at the dark woods where the wolf had disappeared. "Que continue ici?"
"Haaa.... haaaa...." Riku panted hard as he and the brunette rushed through the front door, the newborn's eyes widening as he saw that his horse had been taken down, no longer lucky as before. He wondered if Lilo could of only placed a spell on the beast if he would of been safe. "I am sorry, my friend." He called as he and his master rushed by. They continued only a few more feet until there was a quiver in the atmosphere and they paused. Everything around them became darker as black steam started to arise from the ground.
Pearl eyes glanced around, a disgusting smell of silver being drawn from Riku's sheath as he tried to focus. His senses as a hunter were no longer his and the hate he once had no longer drove it. All he could feel was the power of a higher being and for the first time in his life, fear of the more powerful master shook his bones. "Indeed you mock me." A booming voice came from their left, both the younger vampirs looking to see the blonde as he stepped out of the darkness. He wore a cloak over his head, hiding his face. The rain around them did not seem to hit him, bouncing off some sort of aura he held about him. "It is one thing to become a weak vampir of the clan in a tough state of year. It is another thing to be banished from the clan for your refusal of cooperation... It is worse that you have drowned the image of the vampir into a kind hearted demon in the eyes of a killer, making him fret us even less."
Slowly his pale clawed fingers reached for his hood, pulling it down from his head to reveal the mask he wore when in the cities and villages as the grave keeper they knew. The eyeless crow mask that would symbolize death itself. "But you have committed the worse crime upon our kind and I shall not see it through. Like the lycan, there can only be one alpha. There can only be one master per clan... so now you have called forth a dual. So, young master, I have created you.... I can easily destroy you!"
The sockets in the mask started to glow and the dark steam around him started to circle around his body. The mist that circled around the top started to spread out behind the man's body, taking shape into some more solid looking and larger. Static crackled within the growing mass and as the glowing eyes started to brighten, the earth at their feet started to rumble. "You should be honored that I am wasting valuable power upon you, Sora Wilkinson." Suddenly, the ground below them started to crack and small creatures, arachnoid like, started to pour from the depths and started to crawl at the two vampir.
If that was not distracting enough, the black mist finished it's form.
KAAAAAAAA!!
A large beaked creature became the master's new shadow and it was easy for one to tell by the mist's glowing eyes that it would mock Kuku's every move.

"Wha - Axel!" Came the fearful cry of his lover. But... But he had said... He knew not to halt, and his own hands planted down on the sill. He gave a fine jump and with ease he could of never had in his human life, he landed on the ground. He tstraightened and followed his lover's path knowing only one thing - he could not let Axel harm his brother.
No matter what it took.
Eskel panted some, feeling the direction he had to go had changed. He too followed that sense, bursting from the trial and into the thicker woods. Scrapes of branches and the pain of rocks under his feet were things he hardly noticed.
How much longer did he have to go?
Coming from the opposite direction, Terra shook his head some to clear the rain from his eyes, his coat matted down with mud and water. Yet it seemed to slow him none as he rushed down the trial, knowing Ven could not be far ahead for he could hear the jangle of his necklace ringing as he ran. It was the sight of darkness above that made his ears turn down though.
There was danger afoot...
Under the safety of a tree, Luxord sat on the branch, protected some from the rain. His master's fury made his teeth clench and the power wafting across the forest was a fearsome one. Kuku was very furious...
He reached in his pocket, and drew out a stack of cards, shuffling them idly before he drew one at random. He turned it around... and his eyes widened.
"The chances of drawing the same card each time... it is quite a rarity did you know? I have divined for you fifteen times now and always it is this card. I have never drawn it for anyone else and this is a practice I have done for years." "Is it an ill omen?" Came the curious, almost nervous response from Sora. "No... while it's title could be better, the card itself signifies nothing bad." Luxord said quite thoughtfully as he held up the card. "I believe... it is simply a sign of change."
In his hand, he stared at The Fool.
"Nn..." Sora's eyes fell sat for a moment, feeling the stir of the air sting at them. When he opened them again they were a fierce yellow. His eyes darted about, his quick sight catching the number and the quickness of the species Kuku had raised before he rose his eyes to the man who had summoned them.
"What is it of me that threatens you so Kuku? Did you know all this was your own undoing!" Sora snapped. "You are the one who changed me! I did nothing but refuse to drink the right blood yet you allowed this obsession that I was somehow doing something... something haha wrong to drive you mad!"
He lashed out with a foot and a creature went flying. "Yet had you not tempted Riku's need and wrath, he never would of entertained the idea of attending to me and Lilo. He never would have seen what he did that suddenly enlightened him. And he never... never would of come here tonight... and given his blood to I so I could live."
He struck with his hand and yet another flew back. "These ideas do they stun you?! You are so... stuck in the sins that you can't believe a virtue can exist among our ranks? No... you think it is not our place to have virtues. You think the worst of everyone and every thing... but I will always think the best!"

Red flashed in the forest, the lord appearing at the edges of a blackened fog wall. He snarled before trying to push through, only getting zapped with electricity as he dared. His reflexes were not fast enough to miss it and he was burned. His pearl eyes glanced at his shoulder, seeing that it had gone through the fabric and into the skin. It was then that Roxas appeared to his side, pulling him back away as he growled. "Why must he always face such things upon himself!?" His lover called, begging to pull back and to spare his brother. "Roxas, I realize he is close to everything for you, but I shall not sit back and watch my master become pained!"
Another set of feet reached the fog wall, blue eyes wide in fear as he knew his master and brother were inside. There was a new power upon the ground and he had no idea what it could be unlike the wise lord of the clan. "SORA!" He called, afraid to get much closer from the flashes the fog spit out. "SORA!?" There was no answer but a horrible roar from whatever was going on inside. He felt helpless as his mate came along side him, shivering from the rain pouring down and his paws dripped in mud.
Pale fingers slowly wrapped around the silver charm upon his neck, his eyes closing before doing the only thing he knew could help. Pray.
"SILENCE!" Kuku snarled before his arm came up, a large claw behind him raising from the fog beast before it swiped across the area, hitting Sora hard. "SORA!" Riku called as he came to the brunette's side before his sword was swung, cutting right through the fog with no result. His fangs bared as his pearl eyes looked upon the master and beast. What he didn't realize was that one of the spiders had climbed upon his leg and suddenly bit him, creating agonizing pain. "AAAAAAAAAH!!" The silver blade sliced through the insect, only for the ex-hunter to realize just what these spiders were doing.
They were trying to suck their blood.
He quickly dabbed his fingers with saliva before passing it onto the wound, healing it the best he could. He was quick enough to do so and avoid another swing from the mighty arm.
KAAAAAAAAAAA!!
"I shall end this quickly!" Kuku called as both his hands rose, making the fog do so as well before a ball of energy started to form, collecting all the static that had charged. The ground shook more, making it had to for Sora to regain his balance as he tried to get up. Suddenly, a strong sonic spell shot up from the ground, pushing all the trees out of the way to reveal the moon above. Pale eyes looked up in awe, seeing that the moon itself was even starting to glow as the ball in Kuku's hands started to grow.
