The brunette sighed and ran his clawed fingers through his hair, shaking his head as he looked at the slumbering man. "I believe that was an understatement. It was quite a disaster." He crossed his arms then looked at Lilo, "I believe next time we should be more careful in our choices. At least for now we should stray him from any place a Vampir is residing for the night or we may never make any headway for him."
Whatever were they going to do with him? Any sight of a Vampir... he was just so driven to kill them... there had to be some way into his heart though...
Blonde eyebrows furrowed as if the Lord's words did not precisely make sense. He looked away for a moment, as if trying to figure a way to respond and really their was only one thing on his mind that came to surface despite the severity of the conversation he was knocked off-track. "You....You actually care... what fate might befall my brother?"
"Yes she was." Terra announced, smiling some. "My mother had been a dutch daughter to a semi-wealthy family living on the outskirts of a town where the pack used to reside. My father had happened upon her one late evening when she was... heh, bathing in the river. Though he was a wolf in her presence at the time... yet she was not frightened of him. He had fallen for her quite suddenly afterwards..."
His smile widened and he shrugged, "And well, things happened and she is now a wolf and I am here."

"I agree..." The woman sighed as she looked upon him before but when she heard a huff, she glanced behind her at the horse, seeing it slowly walk over and started to sniff the silverette's hair. "You know what always surprised me about the hunter?" Sora suddenly seemed interested, wishing to learn more about him. "Well... he is almost as in love with killing vampir than he is with his horses. When I see him with them, it seems like they are connected in a way. It must sound silly but it's true. I wonder however he gets so close to them..."
The lord frowned as his lover didn't speak, thinking that he would speak against him since it was his brother but to his shock, another statement yet question came along. A red brow rose before he sighed, turning and heading out the back door to the alley, his lover following suit. "I could lie and say that were the truth but as you my lover, I shall never lie to you. In all honestly, I only care for his health for if it were not fair, it would upset you much." He paused, looking back at the blonde before a small smile showed. His fingers reached up, cupping the younger's face. "I wish never to see you hurt nor sad... so I shall do what I can to keep you happy and those things and persons which make you happy as well... as safe as possible."
"I see..." He thought, wondering if his mother subjected herself to become turned or if his father turned her and it was too late for her to say much word about it. "I'd like to meet her one day... and not in such bitter terms." He requested which seemed to make the lycan smile. He could only smile back at him, his teeth showing and his eyes bright.

The brunette blinked, before finally smiling, this bit of information quite interesting... and somehow made his heart calm from it's anger. "Perhaps one day he will reveal to us the answer." He wondered if Ven and Riku had known each other at another time of their lives how well along they would get over just this one subject, both having a great fondness for the four-legged creatures. They might even grieve together... having both lost one very trusted and fine to them.
"As for now I believe our friend here is being well watched over by his steed. I believe it say to leave him here." Sora said, looking about the barn which windows was curiously boarded up and shrouded in darkness. He had a feeling he knew why - Riku too at times must need to heal after rough nights on his 'job'. To lay upon the dirt was but the best way to heal.
"Come let us return."
The blonde blinked slowly, before a smile curled his fine lips, hearing the other's words. While the care was only on the sake of himself, he appreciated the words. It meant the world to him to know Axel would be there to aide him and his siblings when need arose... even possibly beyond Kuku's wishes. And that daring only made him love him more.
He wound his arms around the other's neck and brought him close, never having felt so loved or cared for before. It made his heart so warm. "I thank you Axel..."
A smile fell upon the lycan's lips as well, "I would like that as well. I think she will like you quite well." He spoke confidently, knowing his mother was not a very close-minded woman. She too did not like Vampir but her hate did not boil over like most. It was for her like an annoying tick - there but ignorable. He could imagine her making nice with one easily.
And one by one the Triplets of the Wilkinson family took to their beds that night, one of them in the comfort of arms, one to the pondering of his own mind, and the last to his basement below, knowing tomorrow was yet another day. And the moon fell from the sky.
When it rose again, only those with a keen eye could tell what had changed. The barest rim of the moon, hidden the night before, was now there, revealing it's last phase. Within the manor unneeded breath was held, at the edge of the forest Sora perched with a quiet demeanor, on his horse Riku scoured, and in the depths of the forests the wolves lurked.
But no howls called to the wind and no pounding feet advanced in that terrible way which had awoken the newborns' new found terror and need of survival just a month prior. Hatori was a wise leader - to go now with their numbers severely cut by expectant mothers and disheartened soldiers, would be nothing more than asking for useless death. So they kept the beserkers chained down for the night and they rested and planned for next month they would strike a comeback. And so, after hours of waiting, Sora returned home with happy heart that he did not need to watch out for his siblings and Riku rode back, feeling precisely the opposite. And within the manor the Vampirs cheered - though their master made sure to warn them from becoming egoistic as nothing happened that month but good fortune that turned their favor.
And fortune was something that landed like a coin - equal in chance of giving it to either side.
But the days passed without further incident or sign that such a change might occur. At least not to most of the Vampirs knowledge - though for Roxas and Axel, they knew something they wished not to tell. They did not happen upon Sora, Lilo or Riku again after that night and while this disheartened Roxas to not see his sibling and it rose his worry that all not be well, it also made him comforted that Axel's anger would not be sparked for anger made him rather foolish.
And everyone knew a foolish man was a simple target.
It was not so though that Roxas had to worry at all, for Sora merely made sure to stay clear like he had promised not to say they did not enjoy themselves. One night in fact they went to a small concerto, listening to the fine sound of instruments playing the works of the famous composers. Sora was very involved with it, enjoying, like his siblings had, the cello for it was the instrument he recognized most.
But he also had a great fondness for another instrument - one he had never had the pleasure of hearing for it was not well-played. "My, the harp though. What a lovely song it makes. I could almost imagine it was the music of angel's wings."
Neither he nor Lilo were sure Riku had enjoyed the show and tried instead to take him dancing, thinking maybe the tone of music was not his type. That was even less appealing as they had been unable to even goad him onto the dance floor! And that was how it went. Each night one of them tried something new. The one that went most disastrous was when they had the silverette over for dinner. That night was very short, the man overly bitter when his food intake was often blood.
But now they were trying something new, taking a carriage to a far away place. They had never traveled so far (though they were certain to return before the sun rose), but it had been upon Sora's request they do for it had been years and his heart was nostalgic and missing. While he heard Lilo speak to Riku, telling him how he could not know where they were going quite yet, Sora merely stared out the window, his eyes intent on little as he eagerly awaited their arrival.
Meanwhile another one was awaiting an arrival but not quite because he was going somewhere but because someone was coming to him. With his feet propped upon the table and a fine book in his lap, he did his best to read the words before him and not concentrate so intently on the sound of the door opening and closing the the scent it would slowly bring so far back in this comfortable space.
Ven was not often late though not even by more than a few minutes. Now, as if thanking him possibly, he was always brought a fine dish or dessert to eat. Though the blonde no longer had the sense he had a fine taste. Now every day he eagerly waited to see what the other would bring him.

"I am shocked that this were to be a place I would enjoy. And how daring the vampir lasts so long upon this carriage for I am sure he has not placed a coffin upon the wagon to arm himself." The silverette spoke bitterly, as if they were starting on page one. It seemed that way every night and if it were not for the positive vampir, Lilo would of lost hope completely. "Ah, now now, do not speak of things as if you already know answer. If you keep telling yourself you will not enjoy events, you will not help yourself." Lilo spoke wisely as she smiled but of course she was shot down again as the hunter rolled his eyes and looked away. "Lady, last time I had my head right, I do believe that I was not looking for lively happiness."
The beautiful woman sighed as she leaned back on the chair and more into her lover. "I do not know what to do with you, Riku." She slowly started to wave her fan upon her face before glancing at the brunette. "How much longer, my love?"
And so did the door open to the library, the blonde smiling as he came inside the house of books. There was a new librarian who glanced from her desk and gave the man a smile. "Good evening. I am just letting you know it now that the library will no longer be upon for all night usage." The blonde paused before blinking some. "Oh. But why ever not?" The woman seemed a bit startled at the question, a funny looking smile on her face. "Well, simply because there is no need for it. I heard the only beings in this place all night are but you surely and the man already waiting in the back. Though I heard it was the bible you have been reading, we cannot waste our candles... unless you wish to make donations of course."
"Donations...?" Ventus's brow pulled but the woman explained that they would either need to bring candles or pounds to cover the candle cost. But simply, they could go to the church to read such book. "I am afraid I cannot tend the church..." The young boy pointed out but before she could inquire why, he turned and headed back through the rows to get to the little alcove. When he saw the brunette, his cheer had far left him. "Can you believe it so? They shall not keep these doors open for the love of learning." He pouted before placing two bags upon the coffee table. "Nonetheless, I have brought some things!" His smile returned as he reached into one bag, pulling out a pie of some sort. "Here, this is called Treacle Tart. The rest you can bring back home for you since there wasn't single slices this time."
In the next bag, he pulled out a bottle, a mischievous grin on his face. "And for it is a fine night, I decided to bring some ale~"
In the forest, two wolves were one again on each others tracks. A younger one who was foolish to think he could not be tracked and the elder dealing with this fact. Finally, the older wolf stopped and the younger knew he was founded out. He went into a trot, going to the other's side with his tail between his legs. "Please excuse my stalking, Eskel... but I have become curious. Are you not headed in the direction of the vampir manor?"

The younger Vampir smiled secretively at the banter he heard between the two, shaking his head. It was true Riku knew not where they were going this time - Sora demanding it remain a surprise. He hoped maybe this way he would be more pleasant - who did not like a good surprise?
When he heard his love he leaned a little closer to the window, sniffing the air as it blew. He shut his eyes and smiled, finally catching the scent quite familiar. His smile grew as he looked back, announcing with a happy air one could imagine him as a quite younger child, "We are almost upon it my darling! I can not wait!" He leaned further out the window and stared intensely.
And little by little, the sound of clomping hooves started to get overtaken by a soft whoosh, whoosh, whooooosh.... crrrshaaaa. "Ah, can you hear it dear? Can you smell it?!" Sora laughed, breathing in the salty air with glee. "Oh my father would be so thrilled at this moment!"
"Oh, now you are truly using your mind~" The wolf chuckled, his eyebrows raising as he grinned at the others' daring, moving over so the other could take a seat. "Well then, let us enjoy this meal!" Together the pie was cut and the drink was split, the two truly enjoying the food given to them. In fact anyone passing by who knew the truth of these two might find it strange if they happened upon the window to see a Lycan and a Vampir - such bitter enemies - bowing their heads in prayer for the meal given to them before they even began.
"Mmmm, it truly is a treat~ A perfect choice." Terra complimented as he polished off the last of his piece, feeling quite satisfied as it made a great dessert to go with the hare he had caught upon the afternoon hunt. He lifted his glass, taking a sip to wash it down before nodding to the other, chuckling, "Thank you Ven."
"Perhaps I am, is it of any business of yours?" Why was it Nico could let this go so easily and yet this boy could not? Perhaps it was his youth that kept him from halting his tongue. He was not so certain but it was driving on his nerves to be hailed by the other and followed at every moment. He knew he could simply force the other into submission so he would learn his place but he had always tried to be more kind to the other wolves....

Lilo paused as she heard the excited calls from her lover but even she had to smile as the smell of the ocean hit her nose. "My yes... it doth brings memories of old times when we were but children. Father always made a fuss when we came here to make sure we all wore our large hats to protect us from the sun. I suppose now we haven't need to worry much of it." She smiled as she leaned over her lover, looking out the window the best she could to see the ocean coming up.
It was the Rhossili Beach that they were headed and paid fine tips, the coachman had no say about it. These people were the most of odd but were nice as all. The carriage was brought down to the lowest peaks over the beach before he paused, the horses shifting as the man tilted over some. "We have arrived. This is as far as I can go." "Every well, we thank you greatly!" Lilo smiled as Sora opened the door and hopped out before he helped her down as well. She made haste to leave his side and go around the carriage to the edge of the small ridge, seeing the wide, vast ocean before her. It was but a small beach but they didn't need anything larger for the three.
How different it looked at night.
As the silverette came from the carriage, his hair quickly started to shift in the ocean wind before he too came around the carriage and looked over the ocean. "Hmmm... are not oceans for bright, sunny days?"
"You are welcome, kind sir~" Ventus giggled as he took another sip of his ale. He hardly touched his treat much and it would be easy for Terra to find out why. The blonde was cold, having not drunk any blood since his last meal. Of course, when one drinks without eating, nothing become absorbed. Instead, the blonde had rosy cheeks and a slight slur to his voice as he poured himself some more ale, some of it dripping onto the table. "B-but we must stop filling ourselves with such fine food and... and learn more from God!" He exclaimed as he pointed at the book that was left at the edge.
"Ah, but of course it is! Why ever would you head to our enemies den, especially all by yourself?" The pup questioned as his ears rose some and he walked around the larger. He paused as his golden eyes caught sight of something shiny in the moonlight. "Oh! What is this?" He asked as his snout came close to the bracelet but he jumped back as his nose to could feel the great heat coming from it and of course the swat he was about to get. "Does it not burn you from the intense heat it gives off!? Is it but majick? Where ever did you find it!?"

"Why whoever would say that?" Sora said in surprise, his grin ever wider as he looked towards Riku. His eyes seemed to glitter. "A fine man like yourself must have a romantic side. The beach is just lovely for walking beside under the light of the stars and moon." He turned his head, the look on his face now quite gentle and fond. "My father had proposed to my mother upon the sight of the waters, the two loves of his life..."
There was silence for a time, perhaps the others regaling this story or maybe simply enjoying the sound of the waves before Sora perked up right again and he laughed jovially. "But I don't care what time of day it is! The beach, the sand, the water! It's meant for playing in!" He took off at a run suddenly down the ridge, hitting the sand within moments. It had been so long... but everything was so familiar it made his spine tingle. He reached down, feeling the warmth in the ground before he straightened and looked back, seeing neither had moved. "Come on hurry! There is so much to do and the sand is still warm! We can collect seashells and build sandcastles and make sand angels and swim! Hurry we need to do it all!"
He grinned and hurried down to the water not caring as the tide smacked into his shins and wet his clothes. He reached down, cupping the water and tossing it up into the sky, the droplets shining in the moonlight as he continued to laugh and cheer even as a stronger tide made him fall into the sand. It was a sight neither Riku nor Lilo had gotten the full pleasure of seeing correctly before - while it had always been obvious from his upbeat and hopeful nature that he had quite an innocent maybe even childish nature. But here, one could imagine the Vampir had not a care in the world and that everything was so simple if you just knew not to drink the salt water.
A chuckle that was somewhat cruel came to Ven's ears though Terra only laughed because the sight of the drunken Vampir was rather amusing. "Are you sure your mind is straight enough to understand? You seem hardly able to figure your glass." He nodded to the now wettened table, the smell of alcohol on it very strong to both their noses.
"What are you babbling of. There is no-" Eskel started to say but trialed off, looking down at the charm. "It is only meant for you and if you pawn it away, it will burn through the skin of anyone else." So that was not false... He could possibly use this to his advantage.
He sighed as if he was giving in and sat down. But the story started to cotton his mind was one quite false. It was not he was precisely... shamed - alright he was shamed by the truth, but it was for the better good of... both of them. All of them. He would not meet Hatori's mercy if he was given the truth, for that he was sure. "Sunil, if I give you insight, you must swear to tell not another soul."

Eyes slowly blinked as she watched her lover frolic and leap upon the waves as if he were but a child. The sight even made her jaw fall in disbelief. Never had she seen a man of his age carry on so and as she looked back, she saw a questionable look on the hunter's and coachman's face. A blush ran over hers for it was indeed factual that this man was but her lover and his actions well reflected hers. All she could do was put up her hands and made her way down the ridge. When she slipped some, she gasped as she felt strong arms around her, making her glance up to see the silverette. "Riku...?" "Careful now..."
He helped her down the ridge the rest of the way and as she hit bottom, her shoes and stockings were off, her hands gripping her dress to pull it up and away she went. Her laughter quickly followed suit as she felt the cold water hit her feet. Her dress had no chance after that since Sora was quick to come and start to dance with her and pulled her closer to the water. As for the hunter, he only strolled across the sand, having left his boots and socks with Lilo's.
Silver hair shimmered in the moonlight as his eyes slowly looked down at his feet when he walked, feeling the warmth under them and actually enjoying it. He came to a rock, deciding to sit on it and watch the two lovers play. It was their laughter that he tuned out though, his eyes closing and his ears open to listen to the sounds of the waves. He had never been near or seen the ocean in his life... so why did it sound so familiar and calming to him?
"Oi?" The blonde blinked before leaning over, seeing the drops he had left. "Ppffffffffft!! It did merely move on me! Did you see it!?" He laughed as he drank some more, enjoying the bite it had. He was not much a drinker but in good company, anything went. "No, no! We must.... we must continue~ I shall forget much if we do not~" He giggled as he leaned into the lycan, a bright smile still on his face. If one would of seen this, of the vampir clan or lycan pack, they would be yelling at either one. Ventus had no guard and Terra had all the chance to take an enemy's life.
The pup plopped onto his bum when the elder finally came to his senses to tell him what was truly happening. His ears shifted as his head tilted some. "Of course! Only you and I shall know of it... but what of Nico? He surly was with us as well." Eskel once more stated that it was for only their ears and that Nico didn't seem so interested in the matter. "Oh.... right then! Just you and I shall know it!" He barked, feeling special to get in on a little secret.

Sora wouldn't have cared if everyone though he'd be best suited for an asylum. He was happy - it had been his dream to sail the waters and to visit the world by sea just as his father did. To be an explorer - to discover new creatures and people. New lands! How amazing would it be if he were able to find a new continent like Columbus did with America?
But ever since he was born again, that dream would go unrealized. It was the one thing he felt truly connected him to his father - that dream that he continued to let live even as his days as a servant and now he was finally forced to let it die.
When Lilo joined him, finally laughed herself instead of being humiliated over him, he was even happier, dancing with her in the water. They did this for some time, before they grew tired and a bit cold and hurried back to the sand, their feet becoming caked in it. Sora glanced about, and say Riku sitting further away, but to his surprise.... there was a smile on his face. He grinned but said nothing afraid he might break the spell. "What shall we do now Lilo? Collect seashells for souvenirs and decor for our home? I want to find a large one that you can hear the ocean in."
"I think you shall forget it all regardless." Terra said with a chuckle, finally feeling the cold wafting from Ven's skin with him so near. Ah, now it made sense. He had not yet fed. He thought it strange he became so inebriated so rapidly - even someone of his small stature should of been stronger against the wiles of the drink then that. He ran his fingers through the other's hand as the blonde leaned against him more. "Are you alright, Ventus?"
Eskel sat down as well, thinking some before nodding, "Alright. Soon of this might be a bit obscure as you do not remember much. Your mind was very young and bendable. Ku- Er, the master Vampir took our minds and used us against the pack. After the battle he kept you, Nico and I as prizes." There was a nod, the pup having known just this much. "Well, during our stay there we were mere servants and pets. We did simple tasks like fetching items or chasing out the wildlife from the gardens. It was simple and quite mindless."
A new thought occurred to him and he did his best not to grin. "Well, I came to my senses after a few weeks of this labor, and confronted the Vampir leader asking him to let us go. But he refused saying that we were good hands to have about as we are stronger then humans and our stamina is top notch. So I made a deal with him. You think it quite foolish possibly - like making deals with devils. but it was the only way." The pup became curious asking him what this deal was.
"I asked him to free you both and I would do the work at any time, boosting that I could do the work of twelve wolves. He was foolish to believe such dribble but to make certain I would come he branded me with this bracelet. Now when it burns I know I am meant to attend to the manor."

"Ah! A shell to hear the ocean!? That sounds marvelous!" The woman cheered and they were quick to continue to leave the hunter alone. Though eyes still glanced over her shoulder, watching the silverette with his hair flying abouts everywhere. "My... I haven't seen him so calm beyond sleeping and even then at times..." She spoke softly before her bare feet came down on something solid. "Oh?" She paused, looking down and pushing the sand away to see a seashell shimmering in the moonlight. "Looks like I found out first one!" Pale fingers reached down, taking the shell and as she pulled it from it's bed, she wiped the sand from it.
She smiled as he looked at it, admiring the beautiful color and how soft it was on the inside. "It reminds me of your father..." She spoke softly, feeling the blue eyes of her lover upon her. "When he returned from his voyage, he would always stop at our home first since it was on its way to his own. He would give my father a trinket and I and my mother some seashells. We had to sell them of course when papa died but... now I can gain some back."
"Heheheehehee! Of course~" He giggled as he took another sip. He hadn't told him that the night prior, he had fallen when he attempted to head to the manor, cutting himself badly on his fall. It had made quite a wound that took some time to heal, even with his licks.
"What on earth are you doing!?" A sudden cry made both men pause and looked up to see the young librarian. She looked none too happy as she saw drinks in their possession. "Doth this say 'Tavern' above thy door!? How dare you get drunk here! GET OUT! BOTH OF YOU!" Her teeth clenched as her eyes narrowed at them, her heart pounding with fury. She huffed, her chest heaving as her blood boiled in her veins... and it was enough to set a drunken fellow off. Eyes once blue turned into a hollow pearl as fangs bared at the woman, a vicious hiss shooting from his throat.
The young woman's eyes widened and her breath caught but it was too late for her as she suddenly ran for her life but in a flash, around the corner, she was taken down. The vampir shot from the couch, the coffee table flipping over from the power that made the rest of the pie topple over and the glasses breaking on impact. When she had turned, he used the bookcase itself to give him a boost, flying some before pushing both his feet into it. Luckily, the bolts kept it to the floor but books went flying all about and landed heavily. When she was finally grabbed onto, she fell onto another bookshelf and those books too found their way to the floor and around them before her neck head was forced upon the wooden ground and sharp fangs pierced her throat.
And then there was silence.
Dust filled the air as some books had not been well taken care of and books lain around like someone had been furiously looking for an important passage and through them about without a care. As the lycan came around the isle, he could see that shelves had been torn and broken, books laying all upon the floor. However, the main attraction wasn't the books nor the wreckage bit what was happening upon the floor. The young woman's nails gripped the man's shoulder as her eyes were wide and her body convulsing as the floor boards around her neck and head started to become saturated in blood.
Her eyes told the whole story though as the sound of bodily destruction filled the air that her life was becoming no more. Fangs that were once white were now covered in her blood as they ripped through the muscles and jugular. "Mmmmnngh~~" A moan sounded from him as he seemed to knead his fingers through her hair, enjoying the taste filling his mouth.
Golden eyes widened when he heard the tale, not realizing that it was only but that. "How dare he use you like this! You are not cattle that he can brand for his use! I thank you for your kind deed but you must tell leader! We must stop you from being used like some... some.... object!" Sunil barked again, now standing and seeming worried.

The brunette beside her nodded as if the story was but a familiar one to him. "I as well. He brought back many things for us on his travels." He started to head down on the sand, his eyes intent upon the sand for more shells. "The seashells were but one - all burned now I suspect. The ones I cherished the most were the large, spiraled ones for their magic to resonate the sound of the ocean. Hmm, oh now isn't this one pretty."
He reached down and another shell was cleaned off. A mollusk shell that looked much like his lover's fan when spread out. It was a light white and orange color. He handed it to his wife when she came near and smiled. "It is like the sun."
They continued to pick up and find shells to their liking, each piece already in their minds for where it might go in there home. Soon though Sora was excited to do the next best thing. Building a sand castle.
As Lilo set the shells somewhere for safe-keeping he wandered across the sand to where Riku sat. He had not felt the man's eyes on him all night since they had gotten here and though it was strange it filled him with happiness to know the other had found a bit of peace. "Hey Riku," He asked, hoping he would not break the spell. "Would you like to help Lilo and I build the sand castle or are you content here?"
Both of them were startled when the librarian happened upon them, quite furious at them. Terra frowned at her, not quite certain what to do as she was right. Bringing food and drink in here was forbidden - especially that of alcohol. Before he could find a proper response though, he heard the blood rush of the man beside him and his mind realized what would happen before his body could react.
"Ven no!" He cried, but the Vampir had left his side so quickly not even light could of caught him. He had just gotten to his feet when he heard the massive crash and he heard the gasping cry of the woman and blood hit his senses. What incredible, terrible speed.... He snarled and jumped over the table, changing in midair and ignoring the sound of his clothes ripping to pieces in the process. Scraps fell unto the tile as he sped into the aisles finding the two quite quickly.
He gave a mad growl, charging forward and bashed his head into the slighter male, watching as he was ripped away and he flew into a bookcase. The wolf's ears flipped back and he growled, "Look at what you've done!"
Eskel shook his head as he stood as well, batting him on the nose suddenly. "Ah you would say so! But you are incorrect, can you not see how grand this is?" He caught the other by surprise at his happy tone as he grinned and walked around younger, chuckling. "Every now and again I am asked into our enemies quarters. Think of what I may learn because one might not hold their tongue and what weaknesses might befall my ears! I am helping the clan each moment I am there. It is the noble thing to do, taking this opportunity!"
He shook his head though as if warning, "But I can not tell the rest of the pack yet. Not until I know the key. If they begin to act strangely and Ku- the master suspects something that will be the end of my life. So you must swear to keep your mouth shut."

Aquamarine eyes slowly opened for the first time in a hour or so, looking up upon the wicked demon in front of him. At the question, he had to remind himself what a sandcastle was before answering. His father had one on his shelf, though much smaller and not truly made of sand. He did not know how to make such a thing and even if he wished to, he was not about to make a fool of himself. "I shall stay here." He spoke softly before looking away to see Lilo kneeling in the sand, already taking much of the wetter grains before placing them together in construction.
As the vampir left, he was halted. "Sora...." The brunette seemed to be shocked as he looked back, only to see the silverette enjoying the wind in his hair. "You truly are not like the rest.... are you?"
Without the sense to know, Ventus was thrown from his victim and landed hard against the bookshelf, making more books fall and hit him. His panting was harsh as his mouth and chin were covered in bright red blood as was his jacket and blouse. His hair was mangled and some of his clothes ripped, his face flushed from the intake of the life liquid. Pearl eyes became sapphires once more as he blinked a few times before he glanced upon the woman on the floor in front of him. She had been killed and viciously so.... by his own hands.
"How..." He started as his brows pinched, "how can I do such things... even after we have been studying words of the Lord?" His head leaned back as he continued to pant and his eyes closed. "AAAAH!" Bloody fangs barred, his fists clenching from his self madness. He had never done something so violent since he had taken Volken's life. He well deserved it but this time... it was the true demon who took his place. His mind well drunk had no control over his own restraints.
The pup snapped his mouth closed as Eskel explained the truth. Ah, how wise he was! He quickly wished that he could become as smart when he grew up. "What a devious and brilliant plan, Eskel! We shall surly have the manor when you find the key!" He giggled at the pun the best way a canine could before he nodded. "Sworn like before, brother! I shall not say a word about your loyalty and inner works. You shall be the next hero upon our pack!" He jumped a bit before rolling around in the dirt. He was quick to spring up and rushed off, heading up a hill before looking back. "Good luck... and be careful!"

To say he was surprised was the least of his worries - it was that he knew not what to say that made him fumble. He slowly turned his head to the ocean, watching the waves move and flow and then he found his answer. "I am just who I am Riku. People and animals... all of us we are like waves. We are born from something larger and expected to be like it. Some waves will only turn in on themselves, hitting more water and bringing more waves. There are others that will find a violent path as they crash upon the rocky cliffs and destroy the structure until it will one day collapse." He lent down some as a wave rose on the beach, able to feel it's edges before it disappeared back into the ocean. "But a few of us, even if just for a moment, will find ourselves all the way to land to greet the world, not hurt it."
He straightened and glanced at Riku and smiled. "I like to think I'm one of those."
There was a patient sigh before a paw hit him on the head. "Enough screaming or you will wake the entire town and then we truly will have a problem." The other's cries cut off into sniffles, before he finally rose his head to face him, cheeks tear-stained. The wolf frowned and his ears flipped back some before glancing back at the woman. "Perhaps I... over-reacted some. Wolves do not tend to kill humans unless we are being threatened and I sometimes forget you are not like I."
He looked at the other and sighed, "It is a tricky subject Ven. The bible proclaims thou shalt not kill.... yet does he say as such to the owl who takes the rat? To the dog chasing the hare? You are a Vampir and you eat human blood there is nothing more simple to it then that. It is what you eat to survive like us all."
The purple wolf only nodded watching as the other left. In the wake of the silence he finally sighed in relief. "Finally." He turned and continued on his way to the manor, quite satisfied. Sad but true, he was happy to be rid of the young wolf and his questions. Strangely... he had the Vampir to thank for it, because the bracelet had given him an excellent answer. It made him wonder what falsehood the other gave to his own clan when explaining to never harm him.
In a few miles distance he was upon the manor, and with ease he slipped through the east gate, always opened as promised. His ears perked some, listening with care. He could hear the sound of music in the building, and though he did not recognize the instrument he could tell it was that of a learning hand. He knew not that it was Roxas and Axel, another lessen being learned in the fire-loving Vampir's room.

When the metaphors were beautiful told, the aqua eyes looked pass him at the waves themselves. Born with something bigger and be wanted as the same... yet had their own lives to do as they wished in hopes to find their originality. "I...." He paused as he looked down but slowly, a smile ran over his pale lips. "You speak very true words, vampir..." He spoke softly before seeing Lilo wave her arms at them. "You shouldn't keep her waiting."
Bloody lips continued to quiver as he looked upon the butchered woman, his own deed that he did not recognize. "Truth be still, I am murdering God's children in the light of mine own life. It is selfish of me to do so and no matter the reason, I shall still be punished by his hands and suffer the great end of my life upon a circle in Hell." He whimpered before he wiped the blood from his face and neck before he slowly stood. "We cannot leave her like this..." His hand reached out, his claws growing sharp before he slammed them into the wood and peeled it back so that the nails pulled and one by one, he lifted the boards from under her and revealed the dirt ground below.
It took near an hour to make her grave there, to flip the boards so that none could see the blood and reversed the nails, driving them in the other way. As Ventus took this deed upon himself, Terra seemed to be more than happy to return the books to where they had been before. "I am sorry..." The silence was finally broken, catching Terra's ear. "We were having such a fine time. I am sorry I have ruined it. Please forgive me..." His darkened eyes seemed empty as he plugged in the last nail.
The garden was still as dead as it had been the night of his initial brave stride, though flowers still tried to peak their heads through the vines that had over taken them. The fountain was still as dry from the lack of rain and usage and the bricks along the pathway worn and dirty. As the wolf turned to the manor, the doors opened to allow the wolf inside.

"I shant." Sora spoke with his own smile, glad to see it mirrored on the other's face - a true one. He turned to go attend to his wife but looked back, speaking happily, "If you change your mind and wish to join us feel free!" He grinned widely before leaving the other to the waves laughing as he saw the wet sand piled up in a heap.
It was time to make a castle from it all!
"Do not attend your mind to it." Terra, mostly naked since his clothes were now on the floor, spoke as he set the last of the books on their shelves, checking their order carefully. "There are simply times days go sour. We can only hope the next one will be better." He turned and glanced back at the other, "I suppose we shall return home for the night."
The lycan walked to the open doors, the strange occurrence becoming more regular to his mind. He sniffed the air, before following the scent of the master up the stairs and to his quarters, this door also opening for him. He walked within, finding the man on his bed, reading a book as he often had. Before he could speak, the wolf was jumping onto the bed, looking him straight in the eye. "I have a proposition for you."
