Xion gasped a bit at the rejection.... but she knew it was coming... She knew how Roxas was. She shook her head before giving a weak smile to whoever wanted it. "I was in the neighborhood to pick up the last of my things... and I got a message from the school that you'd be returning soon and the date... so I just wanted to congratulate you." She sighed, not getting any response at all before turning. "It was nice to see you again..." She slowly started to walk out before stopping, frowning a bit before looking over her shoulder. "Oh... and Axel was on the news this morning. I guess you'll be happy to know he was arrested..."
This... seemed to make Roxas flip out, suddenly rushing at her and pulling her shirt. "WAAA! ROXAS!?" Her blue eyes widened, being asked why he would think that was great news. "I...well....I....I thought you hated him for what he did to you that night!"
Missed both of them. Saw em but every 474 users were shelter stalking it seemed and ray showed up 2 minutes late and WV showed up 4 minutes late so I wasn't even going to bother a third time: You have another egg so if you wanna try it yourself, you seem to have better luck than me...

OOC: TAT Sorry honey!
Blue eyes rolled some, the man crossing his arms as he heard her. The words meant nothing to him; her congratulations, her greeting. All meaningless, empty and hollow. If she had cared about him at all... she would of been here. Seeing him, making sure he was okay!
He shut his eyes, turning his head away from her as she spoke again. But this news made his heart stop and his breath catch in his lungs. "Axel. . . . was arrested. . ." He felt like someone had taken a sledgehammer to his chest, feeling a powerful pain overcome him that made hi gasp before he was shooting forward, gripping her shirt and shaking her without a care as he yelled. "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE WAS ARRESTED?! HOW COULD I BE HAPPY ABOUT THAT?!" "Roxas, calm down!!!" He heard his brother yell at him, hands gripping him and pulling him away. Xion was shaken up, stuttering out her answer and totally oblivious. It only fueled his anger.
"Well," He hissed, his tone cold and uncaring, "If you had been around Xion, you would have known we patched things up. If you had, oh, I dunno, came and visited me, you would have known that Axel had come to see me in the hospital and even here too, trying to make up for what he did." He ran a hand through his hair, scoffing hatefully. "If you had EVEN CALLED I could of told you... just how much I like Axel. That we're dating!!!"
This news seemed to shatter her heart. But he didn't care. "I dunno, I must be crazy to think that's what a best friend does. Care about the other friend. Tch, must be from planet retard to think that! Or maybe you just weren't that great of a friend to begin with. You know what Xion, thanks for telling me. Now get the fuck out of here." He snarled before spinning on his heels and stopping out of the lobby around a door that led to the break room.
"ROXAS!" Sora cried after him, before jerking his head to look at Xion... seeing tears filling her eyes as she held her heart. She only met his eyes for a second before turning and rushing out of the room. "X-XION!"
He didn't know who to go after. Didn't know if it would be worthwhile to even try. So he just stood there and sighed before staring up at the ceiling balefully. "You just think it's funny, don't you?"

Xion was never seen again after that, though Sora tried to contact her, she could only reply that she didn't want to talk to someone who didn't realize that the world didn't revolve around him... and that other people had their own insecurities. As for Roxas, it was someone mutual, but he cared more about something else that day. Sora was his escort to the local jail, not the same that Ventus was held. No information could be released for 48 hours... but it was Sera who filled them in.
The police had arrested him the second he walked out the door to catch the bus to the rehad center on the count of possessing and selling drugs. Apparently... someone had 'sold him out'.
It was the longest 48 hours of Roxas's life... and once again, he stayed with Sora for them, not wanting to go home. Sora was smart, not wanting to fuel the fire, as he didn't mention the situation with Ventus. As far as Roxas knew, his identical brother would be out... or staying in, on Wednesday.
However, Wednesday came and went, with no contact from the jail and a cloud shadowed over the Holani, Umi and Mizushima family. With this news in place, Roxas headed down to the prison, getting his two hour visitation in with the redhead. Axel was oddly.... calm and relaxed, joking how the tables had turned and now Roxas would have to come and visit him for a year and a half now. Luckily... the orange looked better on him.
Come Thursday morning, Riku received a phone call at his firm that Ventus had been clear of charges in the prison, them finding the real culpret and transferring him to a high security prison far off and having to go to trial again. The second he was off the phone, he called the courthouse, letting them know and since one of their cases had never showed, they would take Ventus in a hour. That said, Riku phoned Sora, Ven's parents, and Saix. However, the silverette was shocked to hear that Saix wouldn't be showing. Riku thought of the worse, wondering if Aqua had gone into labor but he said he had a better idea and to call him once the verdict was given.
It didn't take long for a hour to go buy, papers flying and people getting in their seats. Ventus wasn't brought down, the jail not being able to release him that quickly to be transferred but the case went on.
And it didn't last very long. Riku and the other lawyer said their last words, and the jury went on duration for the appeal. Now, it was time to wait... and wait.... and wait.... Aquamarine eyes looked back at the family every once in awhile, giving them a soft smile... and then the light was shown, the jury coming back in.
The man in the bottom left stood, holding his paper up high and read their verdict. Not guilty. And that bang was hear, the voice of an angel announcing that all charges are dropped. The whole courtroom cheered and before Riku could, he felt arms of steel wrap around him, pulling him close and squeezing him. "HAHA! Hold on Sora! I need to make a phone call!" And he did as they got outside, smiling to those who congratulated him but he let Saix know that Ven would be released and the blue haired man offered to pick him up.
The gates outside of the prison were open, allowing a slightly shorter than average male walk out beyond the chained and barbed wall. There was a single car parked out front... and a woman standing in the pathway, seeming to have a conversation with it. Chapped lips pushed close as he slowly wanted up behind her, his blonde hair shifting in the fall breeze. "Aqua...?" The woman seemed to flinch before she slowly looked back at turned, her appearance so... different to him now that she was... full of child.
Ventus became a bit uneasy as she walked up to him, arms wrapping around his neck but she couldn't bring him very close... She sobbed softly as he slowly ran his hand through her hair.
Everything... was coming back to him...
And then, everything moved so fast. Ventus was suddenly in the hospital, his forehead pasted on a large glass window as he looked inside a nursery, where his blue eyes were fixed on a little baby that was sound asleep, a white blanket and blue hat on. The baby's name: Terra Isa Holani. It was surreal... to look at something that you helped make... and not have the connection at all towards it.
But what he didn't realize what that his new formed syndrome of PTSD would help him bond back to both his child... and lover.
He would wake up in the middle of the night in cold sweat, panting and having to catch his breath from the nightmares that plagued him... only to hear fussing across the room. He would get up every night, warming a bottle and feeding him, rocking him in the chair until he went to sleep again. One night, after burping him and rocking him gently, his tired eyes looked down at the blue haired baby only to see... him smiling back up at him, swirly blue eyes full of love.
That was when I realized... that I had a purpose again. That not only did Aqua and my family needed me... but this innocent... little child needed me as well. He needed a father that would acknowledge him, play with him, teach him everything he knew and more... He needed a dad.
The next day, Ventus seemed to do a 360... and slowly became the man that everyone once knew. Strangely enough, it was the day of the Christmas ball. Both Ven and Aqua got into their dressy clothes and Aqua fixed little Terra all up, hearing him laughing happily as she dipped him playfully. She paused though, looking back into the bathroom to see Ven looking at her. "What is it?" She asked softly, knowing that Ven hadn't said more than two words to her since after he was released.
"You're beautiful..."
That night at the party, Aqua shown brightly as her arm was wrapped around Ven's all night, their son on his other arm as they enjoyed their time. It was even better this year because... Sora was there this time, after so many years, his fingers intertwined with the lawyer that made their family whole again. The night went on until the speeches that came every year made the three floors quiet. Sirocco gave one hell of a speech, congratulating Riku and Ventus, Aqua and the new piece of the family, Terra.
But that wasn't all. Ven had to say something too. Not just say something... but do something. Terra was handed over to his grandmother before he turned... and got on one knee in front of Aqua in front of everyone.
I never saw her look so happy...
Two years passed and a couple walked down a large flight of stairs, coming to the bottom as their little toddler plopped behind them until he reached the bottom as well. There was a woman's voice that echoed in the large, empty house as she walked away from them... but before they could follow her, Aqua paused, looking at Ven. "Do you really think a house this big is necessary? I mean... we don't need four bedrooms..." "Sure we do." Ven smiled as he took her hands, pulling her close. "We need our bedroom... Terra's bedroom... a guest bedroom and one just in case.... we want to expand our family a little more..." "Oh Ventus..."
Now working for the Transway Transportation Inc. as their head of computer repair, Ventus was bringing home a few thousand dollars a week... and this time, he didn't have to go to any back way alley. He could support his family... just like he always wanted to and he could raise it in the best neighborhood in Twilight City.
Three more years flew by, seasons went and gone and all was well around the city. The biggest news out there now was the mass clean up in the Gallows. People weren't too happy that all their tax money were being put into the project... but the new mayor knew that they couldn't just ignore that place. The place where he was from. Yea, it was shocking to find out that Axel was even running for mayor when he got out of jail, did his community service and paid the fines... but to have him WIN... was a whole other story.
And best yet, his work partner... was also his life partner.
No one had ever seen Roxas so happy either...
Things... were really starting to look up, especially now since Roxas was the new owner and manager of the music school in the Gallows.
"Alright! I'll be home soon!" A man called as he waved to his wife who stood at the entrance of their large home, walking to his car and opening both back doors. "I dood it!" The little boy with messy blue hair smiled as he got into the middle, sitting in his booster chair and buckled up. "Ahaha, alright..." Ven smiled before pulling up another small child, this one with blonde hair and bright blue eyes. "Can you help put on Skye's belt while I get Ren?" "Yea daddy!" The boy smiled as he helped his curious little brother pull all the straps around him as Ven walked around the other side of the car... and helped an identical blonde boy into another seat.
Yea, he always blamed his mom on that. She warned Aqua that multiple and male births were common in the Holani family while she was pregnant... he never though she'd jinx them! Still, he love his two additions, though it was only slightly easier now that they were two. Door were closed and Ven got in, driving off and down the street.
It was their Sunday run.... no, not going to church... but to the cemetery. Aqua still didn't know about this, only thinking that he took the boys to the park and played for a few hours, which he did, but not before coming here.
He drove down the tight road, going over hills as Terra tried to look out the windows at all the headstones. They finally parked and the man with the three children got out, him holding onto the twin's hands as Terra held onto one. They walked across the grass, weaving through tombstones until they came to three. They were all slightly different... but they all had the same last name of Tellus.
Ven smiled as he stood in front of two, seeing the flowers bloom from when he put them here last Sunday. The first headstone... was worn and not as well taken care of... but it read Hatori Tellus... and the one besides it, Ida Tellus, with pretty white lilies. Next to her... was Terra Tellus who had colorful flowers of all sorts. The plot and stone for Terra Tellus... was bought by Ven. After the man died, he was going to be put into the pile with the other men on death row... but Ven wouldn't allow it. He wanted him to be buried next to the woman he loved.
"Daddy! That name is the same as mine!" The blue haired boy giggled as he pointed. "Yes it is, Terra... that's because... you two are very special to me..." There was some silence between them all before Ven smiled. "Alright, you rug rats... let's go play some ball!" "YAY!"
"OH.... OH MY GOD!" Big blue eyes widened as he stepped inside a well furnished house, seeing how tropical it looked. "No.... no way! Oh god, Ri!" A brunette laughed as he turned around and hugged a taller silverette as he walked into the front door. "Heh, yep... it's ours!" As for these two, their five years had never been better. Sora left his apartment to live above the Mizushima firm.
He found a job... at Roxas's school, helping the youngest of the children with social education. Teaching them about sharing and how to interact with others... since the lifestyle down in the Gallows were so different.
And now, Riku was showing Sora his anniversary gift. A summer home... by the ocean.
"That.... that was amazing.... Mr. Mayor...." Roxas panted, wrapping his arms around a naked body as he nuzzled close. It took a long time... for their first kiss, their first hug, their first make-out session and their real first second base. It took four years... for them to have sex. Even then, Roxas was unsure and scared... but Axel talked him through the whole thing and the blonde was told to ride... so he could choose his own pace and movements.
It also helped him feel less captive without a body over him... and even as the pain started, the scars from the other man being opened... Roxas knew this wasn't just sex... they were making love. They were becoming one and showing each other how they really felt.
That night was their final stepping stone and even if Roxas didn't like other people touching him... the two lovers could cuddle, kiss and share all the ice cream whenever they wanted.
"I love you, Rox~" Axel smiled as he nuzzled the blonde, kissing him softly.
"You got that memorized?"The End!
